Kai's POV
Waking up and getting dressed is my daily routine. I chose something randomly. Today I have early classes so I decided to be a little early. Which means 2 hours until the actual class starts.

Class
Putting down my backpack and taking out my supplies for notes. I sit in my seat and wait for the other students to come in. A nice looking guy comes up to me asking, "Is this seat taken?" I shake my head as he sits. He turns to me with his hand out saying, "Hi, I'm Landon." I shake his hand saying, "Hi, I'm Kai." A look of realization is on his face as he said, "Oh, you're Tessa's step-sister, right?" I nod as he continued, "I'm friends with Tessa." I smile and say, "Well any friend of Tessa is a friend of mine." We laugh and soon the professor comes in starting the class.
End of Class
I wave 'bye' to Landon as I go straight to my dorm. I feel my phone buzz in my pocket and I pull it out to see a text from Tessa.
(Tessa,Kai)
Tessa: Hey, wanna meet up at the coffee shop on campus?
Kai: Sure. Omw
I close my phone and head to the coffee shop. Walk towards the entrance I see Tessa's bike outside. I open the door to see Tessa doing some assignments for class. I walk towards her and sit down scaring her making me laugh at her face. She hits me playfully before hugging me and asking, "How was class?" I wave my hand saying, "So-so. I met your friend Landon in there." She smiles and said, "Cool."
I get up and head to the counter asking for my regular hot chocolate. I paid the worker and walk back to Tessa with my drink as I start my assignments from class, too. 30 minutes later I was finished and was reading the rest of "Stars and Flowers' I was almost finished with it.
I heard the bell chime signaling to the workers that more customers came in. I look up to see Mr.Perv walking in with his friends. I roll my eyes and look at Tessa to see her glazing at him. I sigh and go back to reading my book. I could someone's eyes staring at me, but I decided to ignore them knowing they belong to Mr.Perv.
I could hear them ordering their orders I knew what Mr.Perv would get so I mouth 'I'll have a regular black coffee please.' I smile as I got it right and I chose the wrong moment to look up because there he was staring at me with his green eyes. I scoff going back to my book hearing a chuckling sound from him.
Tessa was still looking at him as he was leaving the shop holding eye contact with Tessa before turning back with his friends not looking back this time. I close my book loudly scaring Tessa out of her daze as I stood up saying, "I'm going to the library. You wanna go, Tessa?" She nods and we pack up heading into the library where I have five books in a pile while reading a new one I checked out.
I was wondering about Alice and Sophie. They must be busy if they haven't contacted me yet. Hopefully, it is soon or I will die of boredom here. I miss them and how much fun we all had together. Being apart sucks, but I have to do this for Tessa.
At the Library
At our peaceful table was me with my reading and Tessa studying for assignments and classes. I heard the sound of footsteps get closer to us and I look up to see Steph there. I turn my head back guessing she is only here for Tessa. I didn't mind Tessa being with her just not alone with her friends.
It was my protective sister instinct for Tessa. Steph had a smile on her face saying, "Guess what." Tessa and I 'shhh' her because after all, this is a library. Of course, Steph ignored us, but talking softer to us, "We're going to go to a party tonight." I shake my head while Tessa answers for us, "I don't know."
I spoke up saying, "Yeah, no way I'm going to that death trap for young adults." Steph said, "You both are going. Don't you want to have fun?" Once again Steph got a 'shh' making her say, "You shh." Tessa and I laugh at her in a soft voice. Tessa said, "Yeah, of course, I do." Steph looks at me and I said, "If Tessa is going then I will go. I need to make she doesn't do anything stupid." Steph looks at us with excitement as she said, "Then grab both of your shit and let's go." Tessa said, "ok, ok." Tessa and I were packing up as Steph was walking back to the exit saying, "Let's party." With our stuff, we rush out with Steph to the dorms.
'This is not going to end well' I thought in my head.
