A male in his teens was sleeping in his room and started to wake up as he felt something touching his face.

He lazily opened his eyes as he saw the black cat with hazel gold eyes he ended up adopting off the streets a while back near his face.

"Hey Kuro, how are you doing" he was able to say as he then yawned from how sleepy he was.

In response Kuro licked his face and he started to get up from his bed as he gave a little pat on the head and started to scratch his cat behind the ears.

He then looked at his alarm clock on the little nightstand and checked the time to see it say '7:30' and looked at the corner of it to see it state the day 'Saturday'.

He got up and went to the hallway as he entered the washroom inside the hallway.

He looked in the mirror at himself to see his messy black hair with tinges of purple and purple eyes, he is Hiroki Kusuchi and he is a regular second year high schooler.

He started to brush his teeth and comb his hair to get ready for school.

When he finished he went out of the bathroom and went back into his room as he got to his closet and changed into his school uniform.

"Done" Hiroki said to himself as he finished putting on the Kuoh Academy uniform

The uniform consists of a black blazer with white accents over a white, long sleeved, button-down shirt with vertical linings, a black ribbon on the collar and matching black pants. He then went to his nightstand as he took his phone that was on his bed and put it in his pocket.

He felt something on his legs and saw his cat walking around them as he gave a smile and kneeled down to the cat.

"I have school today so I have to go, but how about we hang out later tonight" he said to her, after all Kuro was a female and he started to scratch her behind the ears and under the chin. Kuro had started to purr from it and Hiroki got up a bit after as he gave Kuro a smile. Hiroki grabbed his school bag and went out of his room and down the stairs.

"Good morning" he heard a male voice say as he walked into the dining room and saw a person with black hair and brown eyes in his forties sitting in a chair. He wore a white button up shirt with a black tie and the pants he wore were black jeans.

"Good morning dad" Hiroki said to his father as he sat down at the dining table with his father.

"How are you doing" his father, Daisuke Kusuchi said as he looked up at his son

"I'm fine, you" Hiroki answered his father and then asked him the same question

"I'm okay" he said as the sounds of footsteps were heard and Hiroki looked to where it was coming from to see a woman with brown hair and eyes in her forties come into the dining room holding a big pot with some mittens. She wore a white apron over a brown dress and had blue jeans on.

"Thank you" both Hiroki and his father said at the same time to Hiroki's mother, Aika Kusuchi as she set the pot down on the dining table.

"You're welcome" Aika said as she smiled to both her husband and her child

They all started to fill their plates with some rice from another pot that was already on the dining table and some curry.

"How are you sweetie" Aika asked Hiroki as he looked up from his food to look at her and swallowed the rice and curry in his mouth.
