Harry's POV

I happily walked to the astronomy tower where I had asked Draco to meet me at, completely ignoring the looks I was receiving as everyone was heading to the great hall to eat while I was going the total opposite way with a bag in my hand. I arrived and put the bag down on the ground while I sat, waiting for Draco to arrive. I waited for a few minutes, looking up at the sky, casting a few tempus to check the time as Draco was not here yet. I casted a heating charm on the bag as it was full of food for the both of us to eat together as we were skipping supper to spend some time together and get to know one another.

Half an hour passed and still no Draco in sight. I sighed and tried not to loose hope, constantly re-heating the bag of food and casting tempus. I really wanted to get close to him, it was my chance and I didn't to screw it up. I had waited for an opportunity to leave our passed being for a long time and now could be the perfect time for that. I just hoped that he felt the same. I kept myself busy, watching the stars, looking at the landscape, singing to myself. An hour, an hour and a half, two hours. I sighed and angrily stood up, grabbing the bag and exiting the tower. Maybe I was wrong to think that he would agree to this. I walked all the way back to my dorm and threw the bag on my bed.

"Are you alright?" Ron asked with a frown, looking up from his potions assignment and putting down his quill "Where have you been?"

"I'm perfectly fine" I grumbled and he raised a brow at me.

"Oh yeah you look totally fine to me" he said sarcastically and I glared at him.

"I'm not in the bloody mood, Ron" I said and he scoffed

"See? Something definitely happened" he exclaimed "What is it?"

"Nothing I should be surprised of" I muttered and ignored Ron's questions, sat down on my bed and closed my curtains before eating the food I had brought with me.

I tried to keep myself from being disappointed as I knew he was feeling suspicious of me being friendly with him but I couldn't help but feel hurt by him not showing up. Once I ate I went to bed, changing into my usual sweatpants and slept. I woke up from nightmares as usual and waited until it was time to get dressed and go to breakfast. I walked all the way to the great hall with Ron, Hermione and Ginnny who had insisted to walk with me.

"Harry" Ginny asked "Are you ok?" I sighed and kept on walking without saying anything, ignoring the look Hermione threw my way. "You know you can tell me everything. I know we are on a break but that doesn't mean I don't care about you. Actually I care a lot." she said, putting her hand on my arm and squeezing a bit to feel the muscles under my shirt.

"Please Ginny, I'm not in the mood" I said, pushing her hand away. She pouted but didn't say anything else and we walked into the great hall before parting ways to get to our respective house tables. I walked to my seat and started eating as well as drinking my coffee.

"Hey Harry" Seamus shouted from the Gryffindor table. I turned around and looked at him. "Why are you sitting there again?" he asked, gesturing to the Slytherin table where I was eating peacefully.

"Cause it's my house now, Seamus" I shouted back and he scoffed

"No, it's not" he said "You are a Gryffindor and will always be. You're one of us not one of them. You're not a traitor." he spat glaring at the Slytherins who glared back for some and looked down for others.

"Being a Slytherin doesn't make you a traitor nor a follower of Voldemort" I replied, enjoying the way he flinched at the name. "Oh and for the record" I said loud enough for everyone to hear "The first time we were sorted, I was supposed to be in Slytherin" I said and turned around, turning my back to him to show that the conversation was over and went back to my breakfast, smirking at the angry whispers asking about the meaning of what I said.
