Villahr awakes immediately to loud crash, and weight on his chest. Honing in on the voices that could be heard in the hallway shortly after the the racket, he determined it had been one of the maids, and the cause for the disturbance being a tray of dishes slipping from her hands to the solid ground beneath her feet.

Once the source of the ruckus had been made clear he looked down to find the pressure he felt upon him was none other than Karolinna passed out on his chest. Her face was void of any trace of makeup from the previous night and she almost had a look of innocence spread over her features. Villahr smiled at this thought. There was nothing innocent about her.

He moved slowly as possible so as not to rouse her, though the likeliness that she had already awoken and was simply feigning unconsciousness at this present moment, was very high. As Vicio they slept very light, and so easily alerted to any sudden sounds or movements around them. To humans, such a thing would be more of a curse than a gift, as they valued their sleep and apparently needed just the right amount in a day to function. Being part Vicio had it’s advantages, and to Villahr, he saw this as one of them.

Karolinna enjoyed her sleep, but it was not needed. She could go days before requiring shut-eye. Everyone in the species could, even the children and newborns. Although just as humans it drained them of strength, whatever was left would still be enough to overturn a Landkreuzer P. 1500 Monster tank in a matter of minutes.

When Villahr was a child, living on his own, he didn’t sleep a wink for days, but now, he found the activity really helped give him that extra boost. Perhaps the humans were on to something.

Villahr lifted his hand, which was resting just above Karolinna’s head and brought it up to his mouth. His tongue darted out a moment to wet his forefinger and then thumb before he placed the two slick digits together. After shutting his eyes for a few seconds to gather his energy and focus his thoughts, he allowed his mind to create a cloud of vigour which surrounded his friends scantily clad body.

Finally sliding his finger down to his palm in a swift moment, it produced a loud snap and by the time he opened his eyes again Karolinna was gone. He chuckled to himself as he sat up in his bed, rubbing his eyes and then swinging his legs over the side. He could picture the angered faelna now, cursing him out from the opposite side of the estate where he had beamed her within milliseconds. Villahr prayed he actually managed to drop her on the bed this time. Picturing the destination was one thing, but actually making it there could be a little wayward.

Stretching out his limbs briskly, Villahr swung his head side-to-side a few times to relieve the slight stiffness in his neck from lying so awkwardly against the rigid headboard. Quickly he scanned the room, noticing right away the change of venue from the usual party suite. They hadn’t quite made it to Karolinna’s quarters this time, which meant that near empty bottle of Chilla directly in path of his vision was from his own personal stores. He had been saving it for his down days, but so much for that.

Grabbing the vodka from the diversified grey and white marble bedside table, Villahr pushed himself off the bed and wrung the remnants of sleep from his body some more, his back curving as he flexed his arms out above him. His hands still behind his head Villahr grabbed at the collar of his shirt and pulled it off. It reeked of booze and blood from the night before. He scrunched up his nose catching a whiff and then tossed it into the wicker basket by the door as he went to the wardrobe across the room for a fresh set of clothes.

Yanking open the top enclosure, Villahr set his eyes on the neatly organized piles in search for something disposable. There were four equal sections within the wide glass encasement, holding his shirts, pants, briefs and socks. Seeing as the drawers were transparent Villahr had to keep things tidy, and Karolinna would never let it go if he didn’t. He wasn’t exactly a messy person, but his top concern was definitely not in systemization. Funny thing is, neither was it for Karolinna, she had maids for that, whereas Villahr preferred to do most things on his own.
