Love Potion

Bonding with Kent is so awesome! He's my buddy and my boyfriend, I mean, boy best friend. We always bond together when I was a kid, until now.

Through the following days, someone approached me. An old man, wearing his old, brown hat while holding his black case interups me.

"Hello young lady," he greeted

"Hi. What's with the black case, old man?" I asked out of my curiosity.

"Potion," he answered.

"Potion? Like what?" and I interrogated.

"For curse, for killing, and also for love," he uttered with a grin.

"Love potion? Is that's really true? I mean, effective?" I just wondered if I could use it for Kent. I know, we're buddies, but for me? My feelings for him isn't all about being friends, more than friends actually.

"Yes, Love potion. Just one sip, 3 days of love," he smiled.

"Are you selling those potions?"

"Yes, because you're the one who notice me, I'll give you one for free. What do you want?"

"Just a love potion," I answered.

He gave me a black potion, and it has a lesser liquid inside the small bottle.

"Remember young lady, one sip, 3 days of love." He left without waiting for my reply.

Past few days, me and Kent bond again together. Riding a bike, roaming in our village, and yes... we're here now at the Pop's. I mean, in a small resto.

"Ally, what do you want? My treat!" And he smiled at me, so, so handsome. I got stunned for a fleeting moment.

"A-Ally? Are you okay?"

"I want banana pancakes and a cherry on top of it, will be fine!" I quickly answered.

"Okay, just wait for a moment." And he left.

"AND DON'T FORGET OUR CHOCOLATE SHAKES FOR US!" I shouted.

I need just to get ready, and think how will I pour this potion! I'm freaking nervous, damn!

How? How? How? What am I gonna do?

"Here's our order, this time it's my treat. So, let me," my eyes widened, there's a bunch of foods in our table!

"Kent..."

"I'm hungry, you're hungry. So, will we just eat?" he flashed a charming smile.

"Eat up, Ally. And excuse me I need to pee." He stood up from his seat.

This is my chance to pour this freaking potion on his shake. I got his chocolate shake and poured the black potion.

Oh god! Sorry for this!

Our whole day went like a bliss. We had a great time at Pop's. And so he guided me home.

"Thanks Kent, that was great!" I said.

"Yeah, that's was really great. So, tomorrow?"

"What tomorrow?" I asked. I didn't know what he's talking about.

"Tomorrow, can I go you out... on a date?" I was stunned in a minute as I saw him blushing. Oh my gosh! Is this for real?

"Hmm, yeah sure!"

"Okay then, bye!"

I ran inside the house and quickly went upstairs and fell on my bed. This is gonna be the best day!

Later morning, I'm just fixing myself and put a light make-up on my face. Best friends no more! I'm so excited!

"Sip of a black potion, you will be mine Kent."

Now, we're here in the park. Sitting in a bench, enjoying the view and seeing the kids happily playing with their friends.

"You know what Ally, I didn't know we end up like this. You and I, together," and he looked at me, in my eyes.

"Seeing you always, makes my heart beats faster, Ally." He carassed my hair.

"Ally, so many years since I liked you. And I loved you." He cupped my face.

"This time, I'll never let you go now,  baby." His lips met mine.

As days pass by, he's always being so kind and sweet to me. I can feel his love. And my attentions? Is always into him. Why cupid is so unfair, why love has limitations?

I cried a lot in my room. This is the last day, it's already 3:55 pm it will be finished at 4pm. We're back again into friends, buddies and nothing more.

Crying. Sobbing. And I feel so weak and sleepy. Until someone knocked on my door.

"Come in!" And I saw Kent entering my room.

"W-What are you doing here?" He saw me crying, and my tears couldn't take it anymore, I cried again.

"Why are you crying baby? Hush." He buried my face on his chest.

This is the time I could say the truth. I wish he'd forgive me.

"Kent, there's something you need to know." I looked at the clock, it's already 4 PM. I know the curse is gone. I looked at him and said,

"Kent, s-sorry for what I did. I just used you! I used the love potion for you to love me! It's my fault! Your f-feelings? It's not true. S-Sorry, Kent. Please forgive me," tears streamed down my face.

"I know, Ally," Kent whispered.

"W-What?" I asked, perplexed.

"That potion, was from my grandfather. He knows you, but you don't. He tells me everything, Ally. You bought that potion for me, to love you."

"B-But why you didn't tell m-me?"

"Because Ally, the first time you poured that potion on my chocolate shake, I saw you."

My chest hammered while Kent keeps on explaining everything he saw.

"And in our first date? All what I said is true, baby. It's true! Passed years I really liked you Ally," He's now confessing. And I felt his hands gently stroking my cheeks, wiping the tears away.

"Seeing you always, make my heart beats faster, baby." He held my hand and guided it to his chest to feel the beat of his heart.

"Do you know what I truly feel?" he smirked.

"W-What?" I stammered.

"I know the spell that can be broken but, my true love for you? Will never be broken."
