Let's mix it up a bit and put this message first, hey? Well, I'm so happy that you've been reading it to this point. A major plot twist is coming soon and that (plus exams*) is the reason that I haven't had anything written in a while.
*mostly exams

I should be getting back into a more regular routine after that.

If it's not long enough, tell me. I think I made it a bit short.

Oh and I edited the Lost and the Looking. It will be published online from Lulu.com and available on nearly all ebook stores. It's so exciting. The sequel has also been started.
So people, tell me what you think of my story, please? It would mean a lot to hear from you. Almost more than a vote. The best thing to see is: new follower, new vote(s) (maybe a full story spam), comments and story added to reading list. Those are the best!
If you have any questions, feel free to
leave a comment asking what is on your
mind and smash the vote button if you
liked it.

Time to start the next chapter!

The group awkwardly followed Alex back to his car. It was already decided that Katrina would sit in the front but neither Cloe nor Braden expected company next to them. The drive was quiet for the most part. Alex looked over to Katrina with obvious questons running through his head. Katrina knows that Alex thinks her and Braden are real but she wants to know if Alex is with Cloe or whatever she said her name was. Katrina didn't like her. She called her jealous. She has never been jealous and why would she be, Alex was her friend and that's great that he found another in Spain.

"So," Alex said "You finally get to say that you met someone from Spain."

"Yeah," Katrina replied with absolutely no enthusiam.

"What are we doing today?" Cloe annouced from the back seat. Katrina looked back at her and saw pure excitement in her eyes.

"Not sure," Alex said. "What is there to do around here?"

"Well, there's a beautiful place to go sight seeing. You've never been to Spain, right?"

"No, but I bet there would be some cool stuff around here."

"Definitely!" Cloe exclaimed.

"Like what?" Braden said, finally joining in.

"How about we go down La Rambla and then check out the fountains?"

"Is that far?" Katrina asked.

"No, it's in Barcelona. Alex, remember to take the exit." She said.

"Sounds cool to me." Braden said.

The drive was short. They were in downtown Barcelona in no time. Alex parked his car a few blocks away, by Cloe's suggestion. Lara Rambla one of Spain's biggest tourist attractions. It's best to walk down it rather than drive. There is so much traffic.

Everyone gets out of the tiny car and form a small group on the sidewalk. Katrina in between Braden and Alex. Cloe was on the other side of Alex.

Braden took a map from a stand on sidewalk and paid for it. He joined back up with the group. "So, what is there to do on this street?"

"We're not there yet." Cloe said and smiled. "It's around the next block."

"What's over there?" Katrina asked.

"You'll see. You'll all love it."

They started hearing music as they got closer. It was a beautiful mixture, urban traffic, noisy crowds and street players. "Is that a trumpet?" Alex asked, smiling.

"Yup," Cloe said. "There's a lot of musicians playing on this street."

"Cool!" Braden exclaimed.

As they rounded the corner, they were overwhelmed by the activity. There were crowds and crowds of people, flashing cameras. There was beautiful, brick architecture, planters hanging under windows and majestic blooms sprouting out of them. The smell of spices and herbs was in the air, coming from a pizza place a little ways away. The small areas of road that weren't overrun by pedestrians, motorcycles and taxies were everywhere. The street was buzzing with life. It was beautiful. They all looked upon it in awe.

"Whatcha think?" Cloe chirped. "Let me guess, amazing, right?"

"Yeah, really cool." Katrina said, still gazing ahead.

They started to walk down the road. Cloe grabbed Alex's arm. "I want to show you something!" She dragged him over to a ice cream parlour.

As Katrina started to follow them, Braden stopped her. "I need to talk to you..."

"Yeah? Why?" Katrina asked.

He gestured towards Cloe and Alex. "You're friend's got a girl. I'm awkwardly here with you and them. It's just a big awkward mess. I know you probably don't even like me but well... I like you and I thought this could be fun, to go to Spain with you. It's just stupid. I want to travel Spain with you-"

"You're thinking about leaving?"

"Yeah..." He scratched his neck and stared into space.
