Heat beamed on my face as my eyes fluttered open to be welcomed by the rays of the summer sun. I squinted at the sudden light and rolled over on my side.

Hold on...

I opened my eyes again to see the fluorescent lights of the hospital wing. I shot up and looked around at the room. "Wha-" I started. "Liliana, you're awake!" Granger exclaimed. "Urm yeah. Wait you are too!" I said excitedly. "We're okay." She sighed.

"Could you hear, urm, when we were yanno..." I asked slowly. "Yeah. But only for so long and then I blacked out and woke up her." She said smiling. "Same!" I beamed. "You're both awake!" Chirped a voice from the other side of the room. I turned to see Madam Pomfrey beaming back at us.

"Yes!" Hermione and I chorused ecstatically. She laughed back. "Very well. There's a set of your clean uniform on the chair. If you hurry you might make the end of year feast." She chirped before scurrying off and busying herself.

My face dropped.

I turned to Hermione who held the same expression. "We missed half the year!" She exclaimed. "Oh no! We must have missed a lot if work. What will I do?" I almost shouted back.

"Come on girls! Your friends have been waiting forever to see you. They have visited almost everyday." A voice chirped from Madam Pomfrey's office. We looked back at eachother with beaming smiles and simultaneously got up to get dressed.

I was dressed first so I busied myself with my shoes as I waited for Hermione. "Ready?" I asked as I finished. "Wait. You were waiting... for me?" She asked, astonishment all over her face. "Well... urm, yes." I mumbled. I dipped my head, unsure of how she would react. I may be a Slytherin but we obviously went through a similar experience this year.

I felt an arm link through my own and pull me up. I beamed at up Hermione who was slightly taller than I. "Ready?" She repeated my question. "Ready!" I exclaimed.

We practically ran, arm in arm, to the great Hall. We simultaneously stopped infront of the doors. I felt panic flow through me but calmed myself. This was not the time.

We unlinked our arms as we stepped through the doors. We knew what our friends would think had we stayed the way we were.

I looked around the great hall, scanning and taking in the whole scene. It was obviously summer at this point. Seen by the beaming sun through the enchanted ceiling. Everyone were enjoying their meals and chattering away.

The room fell silent as they realised what was happening. Before going back to a lot of chatter and whispers.

Potter and Weasley came running from the Gryffindork table and Hermione ran towards them as I laughed lightly at the sappy yet beautiful scene before me.

I turned to my own table and began walking. I had my eyes set on Eli who was faced the other way eating his meal. My step began picking up speed as I got more excited to see my best friend after so many months. He turned around as I was at the top of the table making my way to the opposite end where he was sat.

He had a sad expression that instantly changed as his eyes met mine. He beamed up at me and ran towards me from the opposite side of the room. I beamed back at him as he reached me.

Eli picked me up by my waist as I wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face into his shoulder. He had definitely gotten taller than the last time I saw him. Not that he wasn't already tall enough.

He spun me around in circles before repeatedly shouting "Sleeping beauty is finally awake!" excitedly whilst I was still in his grasp. I laughed at his excitement as he set me down.
