//Thanks for waiting! Been through so much over the past few weeks. x.x ..might change the title later.

The young princess sighed as she looked at herself in the mirror, relaxing as her handmaidens dressed her for the evening she was going out with the new girl at the academy. The ever-popular, Estella asked her out for a moonlit stroll through the park followed by dinner. It would seem dangerous if not for her being armed with royal guards to escort her everywhere. She sighed once again as finally her dress her snug on her slim and slender form. She chose a short sleeveless black dress that was corseted along with a pair of knee-high boots. She began to smile at herself, shaking her head as her handmaiden picked up the tiara with the red jewels she usually wore to school. "No, not that one. The other one." She asked, watching as she nodded and picked up her other tiara embellished with a mix of white and black diamonds. She grinned at herself as her handmaidens finished and bowed before walking into the next room. "So. What are you supposed to say to them?" Her mother, Ashton's voice echoed into the room and she began to frown, rolling her eyes. She turned to look up at her mother who leaned in the doorway, arms folded and her blonde fringe fell into her eyes lightly. She was dressed in a silk white shirt and black blazer along with a pair of slacks. She rose a brow. "Lyllith."

"Ughh, thank you!" She finally yelled into the other room.

Ash smiled. "Good, girl. Don't want you growing up like your mother." She whispered.

"I heard that!" Her other mom, Oriel called out and was suddenly leaning against Ash, wrapping her arms around her waist tight. She was dressed in a red spaghetti strap dress. "Oh, so you two are going out too?"

"Might as well." She smirked looking up at her wife and Lyllith grimaced. "Oh my goddess.. mom's please." Lyllith turned away and shuddered as she began making sure her long ebony hair looked good.

Oriel smirked up at her wife and rolled her eyes at their daughter. "Who is it this time?"

"Estella." Lyllith grinned, turning back to her mothers. "She asked me out yesterday after class." She giggled. "She's so gorgeous and the most popular girl in school. I can't believe she wants to date me." She continued to smile to herself and Oriel frowned, exchanging a look with Ash before looking back to their daughter. "Honey.. don't get too attached. You know come next month you're going to be.."

Lyllith growled at her mother. "Yeah, yea, I'm going to be waltzing with beasts and married off to one soon.." She rolled her eyes. "Don't think I forgot when my choice of mate was taken away from me."

Ash sighed and Oriel gritted her teeth. "Watch who you growl at young lady.." She narrowed her eyes. "It's for your own good. For the country's and possibly the worlds to be honest."

"Sure, but why do I have to take the fall for it? It's not fair.. I wasn't even born when this stupid feud began. It's not my fault. Not my problem!" Lyllith yelled and ran past her moms and into the hallway. "I'm calling Estella to come get me early."

Oriel and Ash exchanged another expression between each other one of worry. Ash pulled Oriel into her arms. "I do hope we made the right choice."

"Of course, we did. This is the only way for the two races to see that vampires and werewolves can coexist happily together. For vampires to realize that wolves aren't mindless monsters and vampires aren't prestigious pains in the.."

Oriel narrowed her eyes at her. "Uh.. you're a vampire too, hon."

"Yeah but still relatively new."

"Ash, you've been a vampire for 21 years, please. You know how this all works now but.. I understand what you're saying. Hopefully through this the worlds eyes can be opened and Lyllith will get over herself and do as she's agreed to.." Oriel shouted out the last part just as she heard the front door close.
