"... She's in a good health Iguro-san, no need to worry." You heard voices all around you, as they whispered to each other.

"Are you sure? She is sleeping for a week now." Another - male voice spoke.

"Yes, I am sure. She's just suffered from a blood loss, and the hole in her abdomen is healing from day-to-day. Her organism is tired because of such a constant need to heal, so she needs sleep. There's nothing to worry about, I'm sure she'll wake up soon." A female voice - which you deduced was Shinobu's explained.

You slowly opened your eyes, so you wouldn't go blind from the sudden surge of light.

"... What's happening...?" You quietly asked and both Iguro and Shinobi turned to you.

"[Y/N]-chan, you're awake! I hope you had a good rest!" Shinobu chirped with her usual smile.

Before you could in any way answer, Iguro pulled you in a hug.

"Wha-what's happening?" You asked, being a bit startled at the sudden closeness with a boy.

You tried to mimic your question to Shinobu, but she had a closed-eyed smile, so she couldn't see you.

"Call me Iguro," was the only thing the Serpent pillar said after a whole minute and your face flushed with red.

"Uh-okay,"
As you said this, you averted your eyes from him.

With his head practically on your pillow, you needed to closely listen to what he said: "I'm sorry [Y/N]. I-I'm sorry that I was so strict at you and made you angry all the time. I didn't mean it, it's just that I never knew how badly can I hurt others... I--... I'm a total asshole, but I love you. Yeah, I love you. It's probably very selfish of me to think you do too but-"

He was interrupted by you placing arms at his back and gently patting him.

"You're forgiven. I'm also sorry for jumping at you there, that wasn't a very good thing to do. And about the love thing... I--"
