Escape

Poppy hadn't spoke to him in about a week. Silent roommates. Erdene had made herself quite at home, enjoying a cup of coffee every morning with the birds. She tried to get Poppy to lighten up but she wouldn't budge. Erdene had all but given up. She woke up bright and early one morning and snuck to Poppy's room. She was going to get her out of this funk one way or another. She climbed i to bed with Poppy and whispered in her ear

"Morning sunshine"

Poppy stirred awake and looked up at Erdene. She smiled.

"Good morning"

"What you going to do today?"

"Dream of ways I can escape this nightmare"

"Its not that bad Poppy" said Erdene "this is for our own protection.

"Wouldn't have to be protected if he had just stayed away."

"Come now" said Erdene "you know as well as I do, you do not want him to stay away"

"Yes I do"

"No hunny" said Erdene "You want him near you and in you"

Poppy blushed

"Well yes I would love to have him... Aghhm... In there but right now my brain resides over my vagina"

"Oh lighten up, you're safe and loved and you are cared for"

"I know" said Poppy "I just feel so trapped"

"You arent trapped just need extra protection if you want to go somewhere is all"

"No" said Poppy

"Want to sneak out?" Erden asked wiggling her eye brows suggestively

Poppy giggled and nodded.

20 terrifying minutes it took them to sneak out of the house. Terrifying in the sense that if either Tora or Quincey found them. Their disappointment would be the least of their issues.

Poppy and Erdene wrapped their heads in cloth like head wraps and wore loose fitting dresses. They would blend in this way. Carefully they made it to town 20 minutes down the hill not really speaking to anyone or seeing anyone. The streets were busy but were old as well. The whole street was a market. Poppy and Erdene tried containing themselves like they haven't been cooped up in a house for weeks. Erdene and Poppy stayed together side by side. Adding different things to their baskets.

Erdene walked right into someones chest and Poppy into her.

Tora....

Erdene instantly looked down and Poppy did too.

Throwing her voice she quickly said "excuse me sir we apologize"

She grabbed Poppy's hand and took off.

They ran until they could not breath anymore and burst into laughter.

"Think he noticed?" Asked Poppy

"Oh probably" said Erdene "but love to see him catch us"

Tora and Quincey freaked out once they noticed them gone.

"How did they get past me" grumbled Tora

"Past you? You snore like a freight train" said Quincey " a bomb could go off and you'd sleep right through it"

"That isn't true"

"It is" grumbled Quincey "fix this shit with your missy so you can sleep in her room amd keep her awake"

Tora chuckled
