Tora x Poppy Lemon

How dare you.

By the time they parked Erdene was wide awake, Poppy still softly snoring in her lap.

Tora reached in and bridal style carried her into the house.

"This place is beautiful" she said "and so is the view"

"Inside. Please." Tora said before locking the gate.

They walked into the house.

Erdene thought she was dreaming. It was beautiful, then again she wished she was so she could wake up and there wouldn't be terrible men after them.

"You can use the bedroom down the hall, I'll bring Poppy to the one down here"

"You aren't going anywhere with her Mister and I MEAN IT" said Erdene.

"Then come with me so you can watch me lay her down and cover her up and sit in the chair next to the bed until she wakes up"

"Fine" she said crossing her arms

"Fine" he replied turning on his heels

They walked down the hall and Erdene watched him place her on the bed and sit in the chair next to her. She sat down on the other chair. They didn't say a word to each other. Erdene stared out into the garden, keeping alert.

After an hour or so, a quiet mumble alerted them. They both flew out of their seats.

"Poppy are you okay" Erdene said magically getting to her first from across the room

"I'm fine" Poppy said smiling up at her best friend.

"Poppy" came a deep quiet voice

Poppy looked at him with a sad disposition.

"Tora" she said back quietly.

"Im going to go check out the back garden" said Erdene "I feel like you need to talk this out"

Erdene bolted out of the room, Poppy didn't seem worried so she felt it was safe and she knew shit was going to hit the fan.

She put in her head phones and out the back door she went.

"Poppy I....." he started off

She chucked a pillow at his head

"Don't talk to me" she said "Just don't, My head hurts, I look absolutely awful and feel even worse"

"Poppy there's...."

" I SAID DON'T TALK TO ME"

He sighed and pointed to a door

"There's a bathroom right here" he just said solemnly

She got out of the bed and slinked into the bathroom slamming the door for good measure

Tora walked into his room to change but of course he had no clean shirts.

'Fuckall' he said walking out to the patio and lit a smoke.

Erdene came up to him

"You really are a greek god" she said

He half laughed

"She doesn't want to talk to me" he said

"No shit" she said "keep trying"

She turned away from him and went back to the trees.

He took a deep breath and flicked his cigarette.

'Fuck'

He walked back into the room and replaced the sheets on the bed. How quaint of him.

He opened the bathroom door and stepped in. After locking the knob he leaned against the counter.

"Poppy, please talk to me"

"ABSOLUTELY NOT"

"Please"

She turned off the shower and grabbed the towel off the rack.

She felt vulnerable opening the curtain in just a towel but did it anyways.

"What do you want me to say?" She asked him "you come into my life and changed my world and then LITERALLY changed my world"

"Poppy I didn't..."

"Didn't what?" She asked him "didn't mean to come into my life and take... My..."

"Poppy listen" he growled

"NO YOU LISTEN" She said "you left me, you left me after I gave you the one thing I held to, you left me after making me believe that maybe I made the right decision, you left me in that bathroom alone."

"Yes I did" he said "But I am here now and I want to protect you"

"Protect me?" She laughed

"I mean everything I have said to you" he said " I was honoured to have shared that with you, I loved every goddamn minute of it, and after that all I could think about was not letting anyone else have you, I saw you with those guys at the bar and a piece of me snapped. I could not see you sitting with a man that wasn't me, so I went into the bathroom and I locked us in there because I needed you to know that. I left yes but I had every intention of coming back..... But I didn't and I didn't because the life I live I don't want you to be a part of, I got in too deep with you and it hurt me like hell to not talk to you, to not see you, too not be with you."

"You're a liar"

Before he could even think about what he was doing she was pinned against the door with his lips on hers.
