Back in the Past~
The young adventure girl Kali Harpercop was shown to be riding in the car with her family, looking out the window while she boredly stared off into space. She seemed to be sad about something.
It turns out that only a couple months back the Harpercop family had moved for the third time now in hopes to have a fresh start in the city. Kali was anything but thrilled to having to participate in the family's move. She was sad to leave her old home and all of the friends she'd made behind, most importantly her bestest friends from school the Recess gang.
Although she had gotten used to the whole moving thing by now, she still felt like nothing was going to change...
After having gone out to the mall for some shopping and such one winter day, the Harpercop family had arrived back home and pulled up into the driveway. Kali got out without saying a word, sulking all the way as she opened the front door.
"Sweetie, where are you going?" Her mother Jane asked her in concern.
"Why should you care?!" Is all Kali said and went upstairs to her bedroom, slamming the door.
The tomboy sighed as she flopped down onto her bed, staring at the blank ceiling.
"Nothing, I repeat, nothing can change my mind about feeling better" She said to herself, having a big problem with the way things looked for her.
But little did the tomboy know was that there was something very special about to cheer her up. Suddenly, Kali's crystal which hung around her neck started to glow and a magical aurora swirled around her.
"Huh?" The tomboy gave an odd look at her crystal. She still hadn't gotten used to all it's magic powers and abilities yet and wondered where it could be possibly be sending her at this time.
In a flash, Kali had disappeared from her room and found herself outside of a very familiar looking village as there was snow everywhere and millions of tiny people with pointy ears rushing about like some kind of frenzy. They kinda looked like... Elves! Not to mention it was FREEZING cold here!
Kali quickly came inside the nearest building to warm up. She seemed to know exactly where the crystal had ended up sending her.
Just then, there was an elf, rather taller than the others, who wore dark clothing and had a terrible accent no one could understand, walking down the hallway.
"Step aside. Make a path, that's what I would suggest. That's it. Be out of my way" The seemingly strict and rather rude elf told the other elves as he seemed to be in a hurry somewhere.
In fact, this elf was in such a rush he didn't even see Kali in front of him and crashed straight into her.
"Hey, watch it! Must we expect to be getting any work done around here with you dawdling" The strict elf scolded the girl, thinking she was another elf until he saw who she really was.
The elf gasped with great shock like he just saw the worst thing in the world.
"Little girl, this is a sacred place meant to stay hidden from the prying beings such as yourselves" The strict elf looked to Kali in a mocking way while she only blinked at him.
"Humans are not allowed here. You must leave at once!" He ordered her rather harshly.
But before the tomboy could speak...
"Now, now, there will be no need for that, Archimedes" A familiar jolly old voice said as Kali turned to see a familiar jolly old man in a red suit and with a long white beard appear before her.
