Kali meets Blizzard

Chapter 7

That night, Katie was sound asleep in bed when she heard two familiar voices outside her window. 

"Katie?" Blizzard whispered, looking through the window. "Katie?"

"Katie, you awake?" Kali whispered, riding on Blizzard's back. 

Katie moved around a bit before she got up, seeing her friends at the window. 

"I have to talk to you" Blizzard told her. 

"Okay. I'll be right up" Katie said. 

Soon, after dressing up in warmer clothes, Katie came up to the roof where Blizzard and Kali were waiting for her. Blizzard had brought Kali along after telling her what was going on between her and Archimedes, which of course worried the adventure girl. 

"Blizzard, you're too early. I don't skate until tomorrow morning" Katie told the reindeer. 

"Oh, I know Katie" Blizzard told her. "But I'm in big trouble at home. I mean, everybody's really mad at me, and I probably shouldn't even be here now, but I just had to come" 

"Things are looking grim at the North Pole" Kali mentioned with a frown. 

"I just wanted to wish you good luck" Blizzard told Katie. 

"It's okay, Blizzard" Katie told her reindeer friend. Then she had an idea. 

"Since you can't be here tomorrow, why don't I skate my program tonight, just for you" She suggested. 

"That's a great idea!" Kali smiled. 

"I'll go change" Katie said.

"Okay, but hurry" Blizzard told her. 

Later, Blizzard had brought the girls to the outdoor skating rink. But something was wrong once Katie got out onto the ice. She kept falling to the ground. 

"Oh, Katie!" Blizzard gasped. 

"Are you all right?" Kali asked, coming to her aid. 

"My skates!" Katie cried. "They're ruined!"

"What do you mean ruined?" Blizzard looked confused. 

"Here" Kali helped Katie off the ice as they came back over to Blizzard. 

"Blizzard, why?" Katie frowned. "Why would anybody ruin my skates?"

"Hmm. I have my theories" Kali said, having a suspicion she knew exactly who wrecked Katie's skates. 

Katie frowned. "Now what am I gonna do?"

Blizzard looked to the girls for a moment before the reindeer had an idea. 

"Hop on, guys" She told them. 

Later~

Jeremy was shown to be sound asleep in his bed. When suddenly, there came a banging on his door which startled the elf awake. He quickly got up and answered it, revealing it to be Blizzard. 

"Baggage, it's me" Blizzard came in, telling him. "I need a favor"

"Go on" Jeremy said. 

"Can my friends come in and warm up? Because they're really really cold" Blizzard asked. 

Jeremy then turned and gasped seeing Katie and Kali at the door, and looking pretty cold too. Jeremy quickly ushered the girls inside before looking around to make sure no one was watching them then closed the door. 

"This is my friend Katie Andrews" Blizzard introduced Jeremy. "And you remeber Kali"

"What's up, Jeremy?" Kali greeted, not being as cold as Katie since she'd been to the North Pole before and knew what the weather was like up here.
