I stare at Christopher's reply to my post.
He had no reason to reply.
Did he?
Am I overthinking this?
What's going on?
"Babes, you tryna solve a maths equation?" Maggie's voice makes me fall off the bed.
"Thanks a lot" I say sarcastically from the floor.
She shrugs "You're staring at your phone with such eagerness, you either want to bone it or you're solving some problem"
"Hilarious"
"Hm. Anyway, I'm off, Zabdiel is gonna teach me how to surf"
"Yall have been spending a lotta time together" I wink.
The teenager inside of me secretly ships her and Zabdiel.
She splutters "No"
"Mm-hm" I take a sip of my coffee.
"And you and Chris?"
My coffee goes flying all over her.
"Absolutely not"
She glares at me.
"I'm taking your clothes for this" she points at her now-coffee drenched blue romper.
I shrug.
Maggie and Zabdiel are out, Allie has gone to visit an old friend and the other two are at the beach, so it's just me and a couple of males here.
Yeah, I'm staying in my room.
Unfortunately, that does not seem to be their plan because not more than 5 minutes later, I'm blindfolded and apparently tossed into the pool.
I uncover my eyes.
"The hell?"
I feel a warm body behind me.
I turn and come face to face with Chris.
"Hey" He smiles boyishly.
My eyes are glued on to his tattoos.
His beautiful intricate tats.
I want to trace them with my-
Okay, damn, Mich, calm your girl parts please.
His smile grows wider when he sees me checking him out.
Well, shit.
"See something you like?" he chuckles.
"Apart from the beach and pool? Nah"
He blinks and the boys around us burst into laughter.
Joel rolls on the floor laughing and Erick pushes him into the pool, which sends the others into tearful laughter.
"Whatever, I'm starving" He gets out of the pool with one last look at me.
Does it piss him off that much if I'm not interested? Or atleast i think i'm not.
Feelings are complicated, man.
