Adelia felt like she was on cloud nine.
Joel had definitely proved her wrong.
He was nothing like Victor.
He was better.

And he asked her a very important question.
"Your um, girlfriend?" She stuttered.
Now Joel's bringing her to a fancy restaurant made sense.
"If you wanna put a label, sure" He held her hand "Just as long as it's you and me"
Adelia swooned.
"I mean.....can we make it work?" Adelia had seen many long distance relationships fall apart. It was hard. It was really hard.

"We can try" Joel said.
"Joel, I want this, I really do. But long distance relationships hardly last"
"Adi" his voice was soft "Can we try? Please?"
The blonde contemplated.
"Yes" she sighed "It's worth a shot"

Adelia and Joel spent the entire night together, both wanting to make the most of the summer.
Until Joel was called into the studio.

Adelia listened to the boys singing, all their voices unique and soulful.
Richards voice was sultry, Zabdiels sweet, Ericks seductive and Joel's smooth.

She swayed her head to the beat. No wonder they were famous. They could sing like angels.

"Okay, I think I'm gonna head home" Adelia got up after the fifth song. Their voices engrossed her.

While walking home, her phone kept pinging.
She thought she'd check it at home.

When she opened the door to her room, her friends looked at her worriedly.

"What?" Adelia  took out her phone to silence the constant pinging. They were from Twitter and she opened the app.

Her heart sunk.
