Epilogue

It's been 2 years since Jacob and I got married. 

We have two beautiful kids together. They are twins and I love them more than anything in this world. 

We moved out of the pack house but of course we still run it. 

Joseph and Josh come running into the kitchen. They got big so fast. 

"Mommy!" Joseph yells and wraps his arms around my legs. I pick him up and he pokes my face. "Hi baby." I say and kiss him. 

"Mommy, daddy?" Josh says. 

"Right here buddy." Jacob says walking into the kitchen. 

"Outsideee." The twins say together. Jacob looks at me and laughs. 

He takes both of the boys outside and the two of them take off running, Jacob following. I lean against the door frame and watch my family together. 

My life couldn't be any better. 

Before I met Jacob my life was full of darkness. I was always scared. But now, I am no longer scared. I am stronger. I am not only a different person but I am a mother, and I promised myself the day I found out I was having them that I'd die to protect them. 

They're my whole life. 

I smile at them as Josh trips over the ball and starts laughing. Jacob picks him up and Josh laughs harder. Jacob smiles and starts tickling him. 

I used to feel so down. I felt drained. But with Jacob it's so much different. There is light everywhere I go. With him I am happy. I've been brought out of the dark. 

I've been awakened.
