Better Together Part 3

Avalanche!

Right away it all began to fall all over the place. CC flew up and grabbed Brenna and Kate by their wrists. "Hang on!" she cried. They obeyed and other Phoenix's did their best to help them out. Caroline was able to carry as many as she could and Synclaire was doing so well. Most of everyone else seemed to be managing great too. The only problem they faced was the rocks flying towards them. They tried their best to dodge the rocks but with the extra weight it wasn't as easy they thought it was. "C'mon you guys!" Bella cried as they flew rapidly even more. CC looked to the right and saw a huge boulder coming down towards them.

Since she didn't have enough time to react, she took the big part of the blow and all three of them began to tumble down the mountain. "CC!" Kat shouted. They all fell down, Brenna and Kate reached out for each other as CC tried to focus again. But they still fell down without much effort. Paige gave a sinister laugh and dove down after them. She reached out and tried to grab Kate from Brenna. Brenna pushed Kate towards CC who caught her right away. Brenna then tackled Paige and they fought fiercely as they went down the hill rapidly. Paige grabbed Brenna's long hair and yanked hard, making her scream. "YOU FREAKING TRAITOR!" she screeched and actually used her small pocket knife to stab Paige in the arm. "AGH! KNIGHT!" Paige snapped. As they hit the snow, Brenna lost the knife and they continued to slide down the huge mountain. "ALLIJAH CATCH!" CC shouted as she threw her friend over.

Allijah immediately caught Kate and held on tight. CC dove down as quickly as she could to reach her big sister. "It's a shame you serve someone like Omega, you could've served someone as great as us!" Paige sneered as she grabbed her throat. "I would never serve a traitor like you!" Brenna snapped. As Paige was about to end the fight, something came whizzing past them so quickly they almost didn't notice. Right then, a snowmobile slid in and grabbed Brenna to get away from Paige. Paige growled and tried to chase after them but was stopped by CC who punched her straight in the eye. "You'll regret that one Omega!" she snapped. They continued to fight and even were able to fly upwards again. Being finished with her antics, Paige threw her into the snow. She used her brain to yank out a tree and made it fly right down after her. CC didn't have time to move anymore.

Thankfully, another snowmobile came in and grabbed her before the tree could crush her. "Gotcha!" the person with the helmet replied. A third snowmobile zoomed in and had a strange-looking stick with them. Then jabbed Paige with it multiple times that it made Paige scream and fly away. "THIS ISN'T OVER OMEGA!" Paige yelled furiously. Once she disappeared, the snowmobiles met up by the top where they finally saw the Academy. "Thanks so much whoever you are! We weren't sure exactly what she was planning to do!" CC thanked. The one that saved Brenna took off her helmet and tossed her black and brown hair back. "Anai!" CC cheered as she hugged her.

The one saved CC then took her helmet off to reveal her very long brown ponytail. "Brianna!" CC cheered. The one that poked Paige with the stick then took off her helmet to shake out her poofy black hair. "Other Izzy!" she cheered. She ran up to hug them and they greeted her warmly. "It's so good to see you!" Anai cheered and went to see the rest of the group. "Dude, it's been way too long!" Izzy J. told her as she stretched out. "I know right, she's already being tossed downhills!" Brianna joked. "Well it wouldn't have happened if she wasn't determined," CC replied. "So you've got a bunch of randos and Wildcats with you, I'm guessing you either need something or want something!" Anai wondered. "I just need to talk to your leader. Something crazy is happening... and if we don't talk soon... it could mean life or death." CC replied.

All three of them looked at each other grimly and looked back at her. "Carmen, we'd be happy to let you talk to your leader but..." Brianna began. "There's only one issue with that." Izzy J. finished. "Why don't we just show you." Anai finished. They all followed the girls who all had perfectly pointed ears, a small fluffy tail, and some fur to keep them warm.
