Cordelia's P.O.V.

I was sleeping in my den under the water when I opened my eyes swam up to the surface and splashed out. "Good morning Cordelia." I turned to see my brother Nelson sitting by the water I smiled at him. "Good morning Nelson how are you doing?" I asked. For once he looked worried. "I had another weird dream." I felt a bit concerned. "You mean of the darkness you saw when we were just kids?" He nodded. I let out a sigh. "Nelson you know-"
"No, they're not just dreams Cordelia." He interrupted his voice turning serious then he gave me an apologetic look. "Sorry." He let out a heavy sigh and then sat down. I began to feel a bit worried. "And what makes you think that?" I asked. He frowned. "Now this might sound crazy but I saw an angel, her name is Mindy She told me that she was the one sending me those dreams. And that I was wide awake when I saw her." I felt my heart beginning to sink with dread. "Wait what? You mean darkness is coming?" He slowly nodded his head. I didn't know how to react to this information. "Nelson, are you saying the world really is gonna end?." He then shook his head and let out a nervous laugh. "Hehe, This is where it gets crazy, Mindy told me that you have a destiny and we are meant to be in this forest." My mouth dropped at that. "Wait what?! Oh no... no no no, Nelson I'm not the one who can stop it! Do you even hear yourself?"
He sighed "See.. I knew you'd reacted like this but Mindy told me that you are chosen for it."
"WHAT?!! WHY ME??" I shrieked and he just shrugged his shoulders which only frustrated me even more. 'Doesn't he realize how big of a deal this is? I mean what can I even possibly do to put a stop to what's to come?
"Nelson! Seriously I'm not a hero! I'm just an ordinary Pokemon like everyone else! How can you be so calm about this?!" He then took in a deep breath. "Cordelia just calm down ok? I don't know why they chose you. But Mindy said that there's a path laid out for you, and I need to help you find it." I frowned. "But how?"
"We need to just be patient I'm sure the answers will come, I know that Mindy will get back to me I just needed to let you know." I get a feeling of deep pressure now. Then he raised a brown paw on my shoulder. "Relax Cordelia I'm sure the spirits in the golden forest know what they're doing. We just need to trust in them. Trust in Arceus." He said. Then another voice broke in. "Ohh? What are you two talking about?" I looked up in surprise to see that Solarnia had approached us. "Solarnia? When did you get here?" Nelson asked. "Oh, I just got here and couldn't help but overhear you talking about the golden forest. May I ask why?" She asked. Nelson looked a bit embarrassed as his ears went down a bit. "Ohh...uhh, I had a dream." Her eyes light with interest. "Really? What was it about?"
"Umm, I'd rather not talk about it." He said then sat up. "I should be going now." He began speed walking away. I found it to be a bit amusing it was obvious to me that he liked Solarnia. The Shiny Espeon looked a bit puzzled by it. "Hmm odd I think he has the connection as well," She muttered out loud and I turned to look at her. "Ah what now?" She sat down in the grass. "He can see the dead or better yet interact with them tell me what was this dream about?" I immediately felt too embarrassed to talk about it. 'There's no way I'm going to tell her about the world ending in darkness like he just told me! Suddenly she let out an amused laugh. "The reason I know this is because I too can see the things that he sees. I know about the darkness as well." I felt taken aback as I looked at her. Then she purred. "You don't need to keep it from me, Cordelia." I frowned "Well I only just learned about the darkness. Wait! If you know about it too then what's your opinion on it?" I asked. She was silent for a bit then gave an innocent look. "Well, right now all I can do is pray." I gave her a sidelong look. "They didn't tell you anything that you should do?." she held my gaze. "You know with all due respect I'm not supposed to talk about it." I gave her a puzzled look. "Umm, but weren't you just asking about Nelson's dream? Shouldn't his be private to then?" Now she looked frustrated. "You know... just never mind it." I frowned. "But the darkness... aren't you worried about it?" She rolled her eyes. "Umm, no I trust in Arceus Cordelia. Now can we not talk about this another time?" I noticed her forked tail began to twitch with irritation. 'I think she is worried. t
This topic is upsetting her, so I guess I should just drop it for now. I let out a sigh. "Sorry your right lets just leave it alone for now." she smiled. "Come on let's go for a little walk. If you're not busy that is." I smiled "I can hang for a bit." Then I followed her deeper into the forest.
