Hi everyone!
I wanted to apologize for how long it has taken me to upload this chapter and while it's pretty much a filler, I wanted to get something new out for you guys. This chapter sets up the events of the next one but I also just wanted to write a nice scene between Hermione and Draco because I feel like the last few chapters have been pretty dark.
And I think I always gloss over the sexual side of their relationship. I'm trying to get over my awkwardness at writing intimate scenes so this was a trial to try and overcome that. Please, be kind with this haha.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
More to come very soon.

18. Natural Disaster
Hermione's conversation with Ron had settled something deep within herself. While their break up had been mostly amicable, knowing that they were now both okay, their friendship fully restored, was a massive metaphorical weight off her chest.

Not that Hermione really remembered the time she had fallen unceremoniously into Ronald Weasley's waiting arms.
It had happened the very same night as the Battle of Hogwarts. They had been attached at the hip since their kiss in the Chamber of Secrets. Ron was always grabbing her hand, his own feeling clammy and blistered against her softer skin, and Hermione had welcomed the affection. At least, at first she had.
