Idina and Taye had dinner and Taye proposed.

"First time I saw you in a subway I already like you. Your the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Your face, your hair, but you have these sad eyes. I never knew why such a perfect looking lady never smile. Everyday I ride the subway hoping I can see you again. Then I learned your schedule. I always sit in front of you to get a closer look at those eyes. I never spoke to you because words won't come out of my mouth. Until I got the courage to. Bumping you is not an accident. It was intentional to get your attention. But I guess fate helped me. We were heading to the same place. It's where I first saw you smile. That smile I thought was fitting for you. That smile should remain in your face. And I want to be that guy that will keep that smile safe. I will guard it so no one can steal it from you. So what I'm really trying to say is Idina Kim Menzel will you marry me?"

Idina POV

Is this real? Taye is proposing? I wasn't able to answer. I still can't believe it. He really loves me.

"Idina I know we're still young. You don't have to answer now. I just want you to know that I love you. I want to marry you. And I can wait."

"Yes Taye I will marry you" I said with tears flowing over my cheeks.

Taye POV

She's crying with joy again. I'm glad I make her happy. I kiss her. And I yelled "Yes!"

We were on a roof top of my apartment. I run around there. I'm just so happy. She said yes. It's a dream come true for me. I never knew I will be this happy. She brought joy to my life. She makes me forget the bad things in my past. The past that's haunting me. The mistake I made eight  years ago.
