Idina and Taye are officially engaged. They already told Idina's father. And they decide to get married after four years. Idina also told her dad about her singing since her dad already accept that her mom is gone and she thinks it's the right time.
Mr. Menzel is very happy that her girl grew up to be a wonderful woman. He also had a girlfriend and they'll get married by three months. His fiancee is close to Idina and she's really like a mother to her.
The smart, beautiful, talented, funny and bubbly Idina is back. She starts riding car again. But only if Taye drives.
At the mall while Idina and Taye were looking for a birthday gift for Joanne (Idina's stepmom) they met Carmen (Idina and Jenn's friend).
"Idina? Is that you?" Carmen ask smiling.
"Carmen!" Idina hugged her "Long time no see"
"How are you Dee? I heard about the accident. I'm sorry I wasn't there. I tried to reach you but I guess your in a really bad position. Jenn told me everything."
"It's okay Carm. I'm fine now."
"Wait" Carmen interrupt "is that love note boy?" looking at Taye.
Idina POV
Right Carmen didn't know what happened since she transferred to different school due to her dad's work. They have to move to Florida so she wasn't able to attend school with us.
I look at Taye and realize I haven't introduce him.
"Oh no Carm. His Taye, my fiancè."
"I'm sorry. I'm Carmen. Idina's friend." She extends her hand for a shake.
"Taye Diggs. Nice meeting you." Taye shook her hand.
