JenniferAfter spending a week apart, we decided that we'll do a sleepover at my apartment to catch up. We munched on the food hungrily even though we had eaten just a few hours ago at that cute cafe.
"Jen, see this and you can thank me later." Kathy said, winking. She passed me her phone while bowing a little. I looked at her curiously before I took the phone out of her hand.
All I saw on the screen was...
Name: Axel Dawson (He got freaking dimples)
Age: 20
Height: 5' 9"
Hobbies: Loves to sing and knows how to play guitar (plus point)
Dating history: Only one girl (I didn't believe that at first, I guess you're lucky ;))
Address... and so on. What is this??"Are you sure you wanted me to see this? I guess this is for Monica." I showed the screen to Kathy before passing the phone to Monica, who mindlessly took it from my hand just to put it on the table because she was busy ogling someone's shirtless picture on Instagram.
"Silly girl, obviously that's for you. Remember that guy from the workshop, these are his details." Kathy said lightly smacking my head. All I did was stare at her in disbelief.
That was way faster than I anticipated. But that's not the point here. You weren't supposed to say such things in the first place. Now how would I get out of this situation? I mentally face palmed myself for my stupidity.
"Pass me your phone." Kathy said and I did without thinking twice.
I saw her searching something on my Instagram while trying to hide it from me. I looked over her shoulder to see what is she up to and oh shit. She searched up his profile.
"Hey, stop." I said, but it all went in vain as she followed Axel Dawson from my profile.
She started running around the apartment as I tried hard to take my phone back from her evil hands. I followed her, but before I could snatch the phone out of her hands she went inside the washroom and quickly locked the door.
"Kathy I'll kill you, I want my phone back right now." I said banging on the door. She opened the door and put the phone on my palm with her kind of signature smirk.
I checked my phone and my jaw dropped to the ground as she basically liked every single picture on his account.
"Kathy why did you... ugh forget it." I said a little restless. Breathe in, breathe out.
What's done is done!! No one can change that. He would have probably seen the notifications by now.We went back to the living room and noticed that Monica hadn't moved a bit and was still ogling the shirtless picture of a man unknown to us.
"Monica are you going to stop staring at this person's shirtless picture anytime soon?" I asked and Monica jumped out of her seat.
"Ah, I was... sorry okay." She said lamely. She then took a seat properly after placing her phone on the table facing down.
"You know this guy Brent Miller, he's a billionaire with charming looks and an incredible mind. So the main point of telling you guys is that..." She stood up on the chair and we looked up at her to continue.
"He's freaking gonna come to my house to discuss some business stuff with dad that I'll be attending and now I need to buy some new stuff. You guys gotta help." Monica finished and dust up the chair before taking her seat back.
"Oh yeah, count us in." I said, giving a high-five to her.
"You remember that one shoulder red dress." Kathy said, looking at Monica but she wasn't paying attention. Kathy and I shared a look as she was probably admiring something behind us.
