A small smile was playing on his lips, "What's your perfect day looks like?"

"My perfect day... it would be meeting my brother and best friends, coffee, bookstore and gazing at the night sky." And with you in it if only for just for a few seconds. He does make a teeny tiny impact or maybe more than I would like to agree.

"Sounds good." He didn't look at me. He just looked straight ahead like a good driver should. His side profile, heavens. I just couldn't look away. I always wondered why people do that but when someone as hot as Mr. Reynolds is driving, showing all those muscles and that thing where the guy moves the steering wheel with one hand, God! So hot, you can't help staring.

I shouldn't look at him like that. What if he notices something in my gaze. Nah, he wouldn't. Guys are clueless as far as I know. I mean I used to have a crush on Walter's best friend and to this day he has no idea that I had feelings for him. And now that I have no feelings for him so it means I won't have feelings for Mr. Reynolds after a while. That's the spirit that keeps me going.

"I was wondering, how did you know that I like Godiva chocolates?" Like he said, I could ask anything. The catch is as long as it doesn't offend him, obviously.

"You might not remember but I once came to Adam's class to get his locker keys, that's when I noticed you and your friend stuffing your mouths with a handful of chocolates. That's when I spotted the Godiva box that fell from Ms. Peterson's hand. It was quite funny though." My mouth was hung open. I didn't expect that.

I am speechless. It was one of the embarrassing moments and so far I have had way too many embarrassing moments with him than I ever intended to after that hallway incident but I keep on setting the record higher than earlier. I can safely say I'm an embodiment of embarrassment.

I remember that day, Kathy and I were practicing for the fastest eater competition that was to take place a day after that day and we ate chocolates only because Mr. Lee and Mr. Reynolds were talking to each other and we thought they wouldn't notice. And to be honest, it gave us a thrill to finish the chocolates before anyone noticed and we thought nobody really noticed.

"I should have never asked you that question. Can you just pretend you never saw that?" I said putting my hands on my face.

"Not happening." I looked through my fingers to notice him shaking his head with a chuckle.

I looked down as my phone vibrated. Nice, a distraction. A text.

Axel:
Why? Are you out on a date?

Me:
No, I'm not. Just in case Kathy asks you, tell her I'm with you.

Axel:
Alright! Have a nice date;)

What is up with people assuming my whereabouts?

I searched for questions to ask someone to get to know them because my mind is reeling with what Kathy and Alex implied that I am on a date right now when I'm definitely not. Don't let your mind go that way, Jen. Don't, Jen.

"Do you know what this site wants me to ask you?" He shook his head so I continued, "What's on your mind?"

"You," He replied but when I raised my eyebrows, he added, "You, as in what you are going to ask."

Before I could ask him the next question, we took a stop at a costume shop as Mr. Reynolds bought nothing to get into the vampirish look.

When I convinced him to try not one, not two, but three freaking costumes I was smirking so wide that I thought that my mouth might have stuck like that forever.
