Ok! Now is where I do something a little different to change up the story. Due to this being the 10th chapter I am going to put it in the perspective of Lord Elrond instead of the regular perspective of Glorfindel. I hope it will turn out just as well and I hope you guys will enjoy this!
OH! Quick note. The elven Calender months go like this. Yestare: 1st day of the year, belongs to no month. Tuile: "Spring" 1st month with 54 days. Laire: "Summer" 2nd month with 72 days. Yavie: "Autumn" 3rd month with 54 days. Enderi: Three middle days, they belong to no month. Quelle: "Fading/Late Fall" 4th month 54 days. Huve: "Winter" 5th month with 72 days. Coire: "Stirring/Pre-Spring" 6th month with 54 days. Mettare: Last day of the year, belongs to no month.
If you want to see for yourselves, go to this website. It will take you right to the calender.

The days after they had spoken drifted by aimlessly. Glorfindel found himself deeper in patrol and work, as did Elrond. Though Elrond was accustom to such things. As Laire began coming to an end and the work began to pile up once more, the Lord found that Glofindel was farther and farther away.
The day had been exceptionally slow. Papers to sign, stocks to read, and plans to make for the up coming Enderi, the high holiday consisting of three days that did not belong to any month. Every twelve years there were six days instead of three, and luck for Elrond, it had been twelve years sense the last six days of Enderi. There were feasts to plan, invitations to write, and much more planning to be done.
Gain stocks were the first thing he pulled from the pile and he read the paper and wrote what he needed to know. Before he could move on there was a knock at the door.
"Enter." The Lord turned away from the door and back to his work. He pulled another paper from the stack which was nothing more than a list of things that had to be done before the three high days were upon them. He heard the door open and like most elves when they walked the man had no footfalls.
"You are working still?" Glorfindel walked in with a paper in his right hand and another behind it. Elrond could feel the anxiety that the other Lord seemed to have fallen to.
"I find there is nothing better to do. Enderi is coming soon and I must make sure we have the preparations." Glorfindel shifted uncomfortably, which was odd. He never seemed to be uncomfortable, the Lord always held a high regard for looking the part.
"It is another month away. We must wait through the fifty-four days of Yavie and and the last four days of Laire." Elrond was not a person to leave something undone and he would not begin to do so. He knew that Glorfindel knew this as well, which was why he did not understand the other's emotion.
"It is indeed another month away, but a lot or little can happen in fifty-four days, and I choose to be prepared for the high holiday instead of having to rush to find what is needed." Glorfindel looked around, avoiding the gaze of the Lord who sat at the desk. "Why are you doing this? You should remember that I prepare early and if there is time there is time. Did you forget that?"
