Throughout the months you had gotten closer to the red-heads and their friends. It was so easy with them, simple even. Nobody stirred drama, nor tried to make you uncomfortable. Everything with them was making you feel more comfortable to be yourself than you had ever felt in years.

Fred became more clingy, more flirty than he had ever been with you. You swore to yourself that you'd do everything in your power to be happy for him and move on but he made it bloody hard. With his eyes watching you like the stars watch the moon, with his arm wrapping around you any chance you had classes together and he switched seats with people to sit next to you.

However, you ignored those signs, those hints because you simply could not believe them anymore. It was all in your head; he cannot be in love with you.

But since he made it difficult to prove yourself wrong, you started to twirl around his brother, trying to include yourself more into his life and George was calmer than Fred. He hadn't given you any pressure, nor tension when he was around you. He gave you calm energy and whenever you sat next to him, walked by his side or talked to him, everything felt more relaxed than it ever did with Fred.

Fred made you go nuts inside. The way he touched you and the way he always flirted, not only with his mouth but with his eyes as well.

Sometimes, you just felt you couldn't manage being around him because he made you so frustrating. The chemistry, the tension, the magic between the two of you just became exhausting for you.

"There she is!" Fred beamed as he saw you drag yourself through the portrait hole into the common room.

"How was the exam?" George asked smiling.

"I-" you said, your eyelids covering your eyes as you threw the bag on the table and plopped yourself on the sofa. "-had pulled an all nighter." you grabbed the pillow from one side and threw it on George's lap, then put your head on it and took a deep breath in that had sounded more like a snore. "After getting two hours of sleep the night before. My body is-" you yawned, feeling somebody's hand on your head, brushing through your hair and making you drowsy. "-fueled on morning's coffee and pretzels and..." you closed your eyes curled your body to George's and simply dozed off.

Except it wasn't George, on whom's lap you had fallen asleep. It was the other twin, the one you were deeply in love with, who was watching you sleep on the soft pillow that was laid on his lap. George looked at his brother and found himself knowing- knowing what his brother was feeling and thinking when he held you close.

"Here." he grabbed the blanket from the back of the sofa and covered you with it as his brother sat still. "I'll go find... I dunno... Lee?" he mumbled but Fred wasn't even listening to him.

Fred was soley focused on you. How deeply and sluggishly you pulled in gentle snores, one hand under the pillow meanwhile the other on his knee. Fred smiled at you and pulled the blanket closer to your head, tucking you in as his hand removed the strands from your cheeks.

"I know you've been avoiding me." he whispered, running his fingers through your hair. "I don't blame you." he continued as you slept, breathing in and out, so calm and so graceful. "I've put you through hell, letting you know how I feel about you. First no, now yes..." he trailed off, observing your eyebrows and your lashes covered in mascara. "Hell, even I don't know if I feel what I feel." he leaned back on the sofa, staring at the distance. "I'm in love with you- that's what I do know... I just don't want to screw this up again." he looked down, checking your eyes and your breathing that hasn't changed since he lastly observed.

So many words and he couldn't find one that would perfectly described how incredibly stunning and beautiful you looked to him. How drawn he felt towards you... how much he loved to see you- just to see you meant the world to him. This up close- with your cheeks a bit puffed and your nose a little scrunched.

His hand brushed against your cheek and every muscle on your face seemed to relax. Your nose dropped, your lips turned upwards a little and the area around your eyebrows let loose.

Fred couldn't help himself but smile. "I know you love me too." he whispered in your ear. "You're just stubborn." he kissed the side of your head and brushed it gently with his thumb. "Another reason to love you..."
