Fred really thought he was special to you. He felt special when it came to you. He couldn't really explain it; maybe it was the attention you gave him, the smiles, the sparkly eyes- as he would say but he had to move on. He had to forget about you and stop feeling guilty for what he had said.

"Okay, Freddie." George lit up the lamp on his nightstand and sat up. "Spill it."

Fred sat up as well, looking at his brother with wide eyes. "Spill what?"

"Mate, I can feel your brain thinking from here. I can't fall asleep with you thinking so much."

Fred let out a laugh and laid back down on his bed. "Guess that's one of those twin things, huh?"

"I bloody knew it." George got up and walked to Fred's bedside. He laid down on his bed and looked up at the ceiling. "Well, then... Is it the barmy to the head girl?"

Fred shot him a glare and George laughed.

"You did go a bit overboard and she did look adorable at the dance." George turned to see Fred's reaction but it was distant.

You did look adorable on the dance practice.

"I just can't get her out of my head. I never fancied her. I never even wanted to be her friend, just a classmate and then the way she looked at me after I said all of those things about her- ugh!" he pressed his pillow on his face and groaned one more time. "I'm such an idiot shit!"

"A what?"

"An idiot shit- that's what she called me when I tried to apologise to her."

"Tried to?"

"Clearly, I didn't succeed. She's pissed, called me an idiot shit and a cunt."

"That's new."

"Yeah and she told me that she thought I was different." he pressed the pillow to his chest and looked at his brother as he tried to contain a laugh.

"They all do." he let out a small laugh, then turned his gaze back to the ceiling. "Maybe you should really try to apologise to her. Like, hey, (Y/n). I'm really sorry for what I said back then. I didn't mean it, I was just an idiot shit-"

"Stop it, George." Fred threw the pillow at him and George laughed.

"That girl really grows on you when she says stuff like that." George continued to smile, placing his hands under his head. He took a deep breath in and a deep breath out. "Here's my advice, Fred. Apologise to her first, then just see where that takes you."

"But what if she-"

"Well, you apologised. However she decides to react- well, you can't really chose that. Do you even want to apologise to her?"

"Of course, I do. I can't live with myself if I don't. The way she looked at me- I just feel like-"

"An idiot shit."

"Yeah." Fred sighed and hugged the pillow. "I don't even think of her of the way I said I do."

"You don't?" George grinned at him, wiggling his eyebrows.

"No. I actually think she's pretty fun to be around. I just don't want her thinking that I'm a twat, that's all."

"So it's about your reputation?"

"What are you? My subconsciousness?"

"Yeah, pretty much."

"Well, go back to your side of the bed because you're annoying me."
