Fred and George haven't spoken in days. Two to be exact but since they were business partners and most importantly, twin brothers and best friends, they couldn't take it anymore.

Fred was stubborn but Geogre wasn't. He couldn't live with the fact that he killed his own brother's child and then have nobody to talk to with this about. He just wanted his brother back, his best friend back.

" I'm sorry, okay Fred." he broke the silence that echoed in the room. He was back in the kitchen and Fred was in the living room. " I'm sorry that I told her off. I'm sorry that I didn't consider what you were feeling three years ago. I didn't know. I just didn't." tears started to roll down his cheeks as he was facing his brohter who was just staring back at him. " If you knew how much I regret that day since I heard that she was carrying your child, I would do anything to change it. I would die just to know that you would be happy. Fred, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.." he cried, this time from desperation because he couldn't take it. He couldn't take the pain.

Fred got up on his feet and ran to his brother, hugging him tightly. " It's okay."

" I can't bare you being angry at me Fred. " he hugged him back.

" I can't bare without your annoying presence either." he joked around, causing George to chuckle in return. " And I'm sorry for making you think that you killed her. You didn't. I know you didn't, I was just upset that I told (y/n) off when she left." he now pulled away from his embrace and they both sat down on the sofa.

" Yeah but if I didn't tell her to leave tha-"

" Shut it, George." Fred cut him off. " It's not your fault. We can't change it. We can't." Fred said. " We just have move on from it."

You let your fingers run through Luca's brown curls. He laid in your lap as he fell asleep during the movie he adored. Erin walked in and chuckled at the sight. » Cozy?« he smirked as he saw your uncomfortable position.

» Warm.« you smiled back. » Warm and happy.« you continued as your fingers kept interlacing with his locks.

Erin kneeled down and brushed his hand against Luca's cheek. » Hey..« he whispered, smiling as Luca mumbled something and pulled the blanket higher up to his head. » Come on. Let's put you to bed.« Erin chuckled and took Luca from your lap.

You simpered at the sight. The sight of Erin taking little Luca to his bedroom while you continued with the movie. It was your only distraction from Fred. From Fred and Frankie. The distraction didn't take long. After the movie was over, you started cleaning up and as you were about to wash the dishes, a knock was heard from the door. You furrowed your eyebrows. Nobody ever visited this late.
You looked over at the door hole and saw red hair. Red messy hair and that was all you needed to know.

» Fred..« you mumbled to yourself and later unlocked the door.

He was standing there. A mess. An immense mess ready to break down. He cried, hours and hours. His cheeks were wet and red, eyes buffy and swollen, hair messy as he ran his hand multiple times through it.

He was leaning on the wall when he heard the door open and as soon as he looked at you, he broke down. Tears started streaming down his cheeks again and stabbing pain was hidden behind his eyes. » I can't go through this alone.« he sobbed, desperate for someone...desperate for you.

You ran into his embrace, hugging him and pulling him closer. He wrapped his hands around your body and hugged you tighter as he ever did before. His grip was strong, so strong as if he was afraid to let go of you. As if you were going to leave again...leave him again. » I won't leave you.« you said quietly, gripping his shirt and hugging him even tighter because he was the one. He was the one for you. He was the one you wanted to hold every day for the rest of your life. You needed him. You needed his touch, his smell, his voice and every single piece of him you could get.

You tried to let go but his grip stayed the same and his breathing quickened. He was scared. Scared of letting go. » I loved you. I loved every inch of you. I still do.« he breathed out as it was stuck inside of him for years. A single breath that he was finally able to let it out. He softened his hold and pressed his forehead against yours. » You ruined me. For three years, since you left, you ruined me. I was left without you. Without your eyes, you adorable laugh, your mischievous smirks, smell and your addicting touch.« he said and cupped your face. » But I'll be damned if I ever said I didn't love you. I did love you and I still do. I love you, (y/n) (y/l/n).« and without any other word, nor a warning, he crashed his lips onto yours.

The kiss of desire, desperation, fury, anger, sorrow, joy, grief and love. It consumed both of you. The taste of his lips after so many years made you desperate for more of him. You wanted him, everything of him and the way he kissed you back, you knew he thought the same.

He grabbed you by the ass and lift you from the ground. As you wrapped your legs around his waist, he started to kiss your neck and your lungs were finally able to get some air. Though it didn't much help as his kisses left you breathless all over again. Kisses and bruises all over your kneck caused you to let out whimpers and moans, something that only he could make you do that.
You felt a smirk as he gave you the last bellow your jawline, this time it was softer. You were backed against the wall and he brushed his nose up your neck and against your cheek until his lips met yours once again. You led him into your bedroom and to your luck both, Luca and Erin, were heavy sleepers however even if they weren't, there's nothing a silencing charm can't fix.

The two of you had a night to remember. It wasn't like before anymore. Like your first time with him or any other time with him back in Hogwarts. It was different. Both of you were more confident, more into wanting to love each other, not to just have sex. Just as the kiss, it was full of emotions but the passion was what made it so great...so memorable.

The next morning you woke up in his arms. His arm was draped around your waist as it always was after the two of you had the special night for yourselves. His body gave you safety and it gave you warmth. To be honest that was what you dreaded the most. Him. This.

As you wanted to shift, turn around and see his handsome face, his arm suddenly tightened around you. His hand, touching your bare stomach, gently moved under your body and pulled yo closer while he buried his head into your neck, kissing it softly and mumbling. » You still smell like grapefruit.« you felt his smile grow as he pressed another kiss behind your ear.

Smiling, you turned your head around and he pressed another kiss on your lips. It was a moment, the moment. The moment you two had each time you were together. The moment where there was nothing else in the world but you two. The moment no trouble, no problems, no dark and no other people. It was only you two. Fred and you.

» I never stopped loving you either.« you looked at him, his brown eyes observing yours, and later your nose to your lips. » But-.« he cut you off with a kiss. One kiss, then two and three...

» I understand.« he later added. » I understand that you had to do what you felt was right for yourself. I shouldn't have said for you to leave. I should have said that I would wait for you, always.«

You smiled at his words, shifting your whole body so that you laid on his chest. » And abo- about –um..«

» Our daughter?« he finished as he saw you struggling with your own words. » It hurt us both. It still hurts that knowing what happened to her can never be rewinded but I think that what she would want was for us to move on and never forget her.«

A tear escaped your eye. A tear of joy this time. Finally, after so many years, you thought you were never going to experience this kind of happiness. » I love you, Fred.« was all that you could say at him right now.

Because you did. You loved him as if he was the one person you couldn't live without anymore. He was the one, always has been and always will be. And whatever that was in contemplation was now long gone.
