Luna's Point of View I woke up alone in my parents room. When I looked at the clock, it's 10 am na so baka they left na. Si daddy, umuwi na sa condo niya and si mom naman sa resto. Haaay, di man lang ako winake up para makapag-paalam.
Anyways, enough with the nega vibes! I smiled nalang and said a short prayer thanking God for another day and asking for guidance.
I then checked on my phone and woah! We are trending!! Since yesterday pa when I posted the vlog. Natuwa sila sa parents ko and are looking forward sa series! Many also sent me heartwarming birthday messages that I wasn't able to see yesterday.
"Happy Luna Day," " Mommy Corrine," "Daddy Chipmunk" and "Reminisence" are trending as of the moment. Nakakatuwa naman and nakakamelt ng heart.
"Normal day na naman, Luna," I said to myself. My birthday was so fast yet it was wonderful. Lalo na nung gabi na.
So nagphone lang ako nang nagphone kasi I'm too lazy pa to get up and I thought of watching the video. Grabe althroughout the video, di maalis yung smile ko kasi kilig na kilig ako! They have a strong chemistry talaga as in. Super awkward yet, super kilig! Sana all ganito kabagay tho.
I was in the middle of reading comments sa video mismo kasi I just finished watching it and so far, maganda naman yung reviews. They are loving it and are excited for the next one. So going back, I was in the middle of scrolling through the comment section when I heard a knock on the door. It must be Ate Annie calling me to eat na my breakfast.
"The door is open po," I shouted for her to hear. I was busy reading so I didn't bother to look at the person by the door.
"Umagang-umaga, tutok na tutok ka dyan," the woman who just entered the room said. But it wasn't Ate Annie. It was none other than my mom. And with my dad. Oh. Gosh.
May hawak si Daddy na tray with food. Ang bango!!! That's when I got up and gave them both a good morning gesture. Oh my gosh!! They're still here!
"Good morning, Mom, Dad. I thought you left na po eh," I said while hugging them both.
"Good morning," my mom answered me and kissed the top of my head. "I took a leave remember?" she asked and naalala ko naman bigla na nabanggit niya nga yun sa'kin.
"Good morning, how's your sleep?" my dad asked me, still holding the tray with pancakes and strawberries. Yum.
"Okay naman po, ang sarap po ng tulog ko and I slept agad peacefully kagabi, because both of you are beside me hehe," I said awkwardly but whatever. They're my parents anyway and it's the truth naman.
"That's good. Sige na kain ka na," my mom said agad para machange yung topic, I know haha.
"Did you eat na po?" I asked after I said a short prayer before munching some strawberries.
They both nodded and I continued eating. Si Daddy nagluto nito, I can tell. He makes the best pancake, si Mommyla pa nagturo nito before she died.
"Siya nga po pala, nawatch niyo na po ba yung vlog ko?" I asked after ko lunukin yung pancake.
The both shook their heads. "Sabi mo kahapon sabay-sabay tayo," Dad said. Ay oo nga pala, yun bilin ko hehehe napanood ko na kanina but okay, uulitin ko nalang.
"Panoorin na natin," Mommy suggested. "Kasi ang dami nang nagmmessage sakin at nagccongratulate kasi trending daw? Ewan ko" sabi niya and I nodded. I opened my phone and showed them na trending na nga talaga sila.
Kinuha nila yung phone ko from me and nagtabi. Nagbabasa sila ng tweets and from time to time natatawa sila. They are inches apart, oh gosh. Ako naman, busy sa pagkain habang pinapanood sila ang ganda nila tingnan talaga.
Si Mommy, tawang tawa and so is Daddy. I opened YouTube sa TV namin and plinay yung video. Yung dalawa naman, nanonood din.
From time to time, they would laugh at themselves. Ang dami ring side comments ni Mommy, while si Dad, nakasmile lang all throughout.
Nasa part na kami nung last question where Mom awkwardly asked if pwede namang di sagutin yung question. I saw Dad's eyes was filled with sadness that time, I think. But he recovered agad just to look okay infront of the camera. And when we watched it, nakita ko na naman. Si Mommy naman, medyo nakiramdam and patted Dad's back. Lol, kala nila di ko makikita yun no.
My dad just gave her a small smile, assuring her that it's okay.
"Do you have plans for today po?" I asked, while they were still watching.
"Ako wala, si Candy na muna bahala sa resto," Mommy answered agad. One down, one more to go. Galing ko talaga mangbudol hehe.
"Meron akong meeting mamayang 1 pm," Daddy said that instantly made me pout. Sayang naman! "Pero isang oras lang 'yun, after nun wala na kong gagawin," he said then smiled. Yes!
"Gusto niyo po ba magfilm ng second episode? Para di na po ulit kayo maglleave? Since wala naman po kayong gagawin," I said and I saw them both nod.
"Nakaready na ba sa baba?" Mommy asked.
"Opo, after we filmed the first one, pinaayos na agad kasi nga baka anytime makapagfilm tayo, so ready na po sa baba hehe," I said. Sinuggest kasi ni Ate Annie na ipayos na yung mga kailangan if ever na magkaroon ng time sila Mommy to film. Si Kuya Matt and Ate Nancy naman, sabi tawagan ko lang daw sila kapag may biglaang shoot.
Mom nodded once more. "Oh paano, mauna na muna ako. Babalik nalang ako after my meeting," sabi ni Daddy and kissed my forehead. "Bye, Daddy Chipmunk. You take care," I said and hugged him.
"Corrine, una na ko," he kissed Mommy's cheek which made me scream internally.
"Mag-iingat ka. Salamat ulit sa breakfast," Mom said sweetly.
Daddy once more kissed my head and then went out of the room. Now it's just me and mommy nalang.
"Ano bang gagawin natin mamaya?" she asked.
"Secret, mommy hahahaha. You'll know it nalang during the intro. It's a surprise," I said and ginulo niya hair ko.
"Ikaw talaga, kung ano ano pang nalalaman mo," she said and laughed while wrapping her arms around me.
"Dalaga na ang baby ko," she said while squishing me.
"Mommy, I have a question, pero wag ka po magagalit ah?" I asked nervously.
"Ano yun?" she looked at me, waiting for my answer.
"I want you to answer this honestly, and I promise it's just between you and me," I explained and she nodded.
"Do you still love Daddy?" I asked and I saw the how she managed to keep the straight face although I felt that she was a little bit shocked.
There was a quick silence before she answered.
She was playing with my hair and looking at me before she answered, "Alam mo, anak. Kapag minahal mo ang isang tao, hindi naman na mawawala yun. So to answer your question, yes. I still love your dad like I used to."
That was the answer I've been waiting for.
