I DIDN'T expect that our plan will fail since napagplanuhan naman namin yon nang mabuti. Napabuntong hininga ako nang maalala ang mga moments before ang spying namin. We think of every possible things that might happen and we arrived on different ways to pass it easily. Why would it fail?

Loki is now explaining to senior inspector what really happened. He's been explaining for an hour now pero matigas si inspector at ayaw talaga kaming kampihan.

"Inspector, we just did what we think is right." He said habang nakatingin nang matiim. Maybe he is thinking that an eye contact might help to prove our sincerity. "We just didn't know that the suspect is much clever than what we have expected." He continued.

"Kaya nga po Inspector. Kung hindi lang naman talaga kami natunugan noong suspect, magiging successful naman talaga yung plan namin." Jamie seconded. She's twirling her hair while explaining. She didn't changed.

Bumuntong-hininga ang Inspector bago nagsalita. "Hindi na kayo mga bata, Loki. Pwede na kayong makulong ngayon. Kahit ano pang paliwanag niyo, mali pa rin 'yon. Kung mga lisensyadong pulis siguro kayo, walang problema, ang kaso hindi eh. Nako naman, ako nanaman ang mapapagalitan nito eh. Hay nako." Napakamot sa ulo. Mukhang stressed na naman ang inspector dahil sa amin.

Ilang taon na din ang lumipas pero nagkikita-kita parin kaming apat. At lahat ng pagkakataon na iyon ay may karugtong na problema. Minsan pag nagkikita-kita kami, sinusundan parin kami ng sumpa ni Loki. I think I need to agree with Margareth. Loki is definitely a walking curse.

"Inspector, like what I--" I cut what Loki will say.

"We are sorry, Inspector. We really thought na magiging maayos yung plano." Sinuklay ko ang buhok ko at napabuntong-hininga. "We will face the consequences of our action."

"I agree with Lorelei. We will face whatever the consequences are, Inspector." Alistair said politely.

Through the years, the QED members never changed. We are grown-ups now but we still think like high-schoolers. We have our own jobs and all pero di namin nakalimutan kung ano kami dati. Loki's still the same. He is still cold as ever although sometimes he can spare us a cute smile na. What a baby. He is now working as a private detective. Jamie, on the other hand, is now working under an entertainment company. She's working as an actress and model. Pero kahit na gaano pa siya ka successful sa napili niyang industriya, siya pa rin yung Jamie na nakilala namin dati. My childhood friend, Alistair is now a CEO of their own company. He is now a successful businessman. Hindi rin halos siya nagbago. He is still the same man with principles.

Talking about me, I am still the same Lorelei but a more matured Lorelei if I may say. I am currently working as a part-time journalist in one of the big companies in the country. I am working as a part-timer since I am handling the School that I and Loki built. We grew up maturely but at the same time not— if you know what I mean.

Kailangan ko kayong i detain dito ngayong gabi nang sa ganoon ay mapagbayaran niyo naman ang kasalanan niyo sa kapulisan. Naiintindihan niyo ba ako?" Tiningnan kami isa isa ni Inspector.
