Now, obviously, Gabriel wasn't just gonna fight King Slime without first summoning him. That would be physically impossible. He knew his Hardmode weapons were enough to take him on, but how exactly was he going to get to King Slime?

Andrew told Gabriel he had a number of options:

King Slime has a very low chance to randomly appear near the ocean, where a huge barrier separates this world from the next. Andrew told a tale of a Hardcore traveler who ran into King Slime at the world's edge. While King Slime wasn't the strongest boss, he was still able to overpower the traveler, killing him almost instantaneously. Despite this terrifying story, King Slime only has a 1/300 chance of spawning near the world's edge, and that's under very specific circumstances.

A more tangible yet random option is through the Slime Rain. Occasionally, instead of water, slime will fall from the sky just as raindrops would. After 150 slimes are exterminated, King Slime will come out to play. This option seemed easier, but Gabriel wasn't fitting to wait ages for the day it was raining slime.

The third and most likely option was to craft a slime crown at one of the Corruption altars. Crafting it required 20 gel from slimes and a crown made from 5 golden bars and a ruby. From mining, Gabriel found a couple rubies and he had more gel than you can shake a stick at, but he was short a few gold ore, so he was due another mining escapade.

After farming enough gold to make the Slime Crown, Gabriel used it and heard the loud roar of a boss. He pulled out his yoyo and watched as the gigantic slimey bound toward him.

Gabriel flung the Amarok at the Slime King, and watched as it tore it to pieces. Smaller, weaker slimes were flung out of the king when he was being decimated.

Even with the fact that Hardmode was excruciatingly...well...hard, Gabriel was still able to shred the giant slime with ease. When the beast fell, it yielded a special trophy, a slimy saddle,  and some Ninja Pants.

The Slimy Saddle allowed Gabriel to summon a ridable slime which he used as a mount. The slime could jump hundreds of feet in the air and killed anything it landed on, classic Mario style.

With this, he was looking to the future, to the next boss: the Eye of Cthulu.

The Eye of Cthulu is a giant eyeball once belonging to Cthulu himself. Don't ask why there's only one eye, because I haven't really been paying attention to the Terrarian story between my death and Jesse's arrival. This eye watches adventurers during their adventure and attacks them when it sees them as worthy. While being just a massive eye and obviously not the strongest, many travelers have fought this beast without proper lifeforce or armor only to get destroyed.

Gabriel talked to Andrew about the eye, and he had some tips and things to say.

First and foremost, it can either be summoned randomly at the start of each night if the person in question has consumed 5 or more Life Crystals, or it can be summoned manually using a Suspicious Looking Eye crafted at an altar in the Corruption using lenses from the flying eyeballs wandering around the night.

Second, building an arena would be very wise as this boss can charge with pretty fast speed and catch many people off guard. Several platforms with a jumping distance between them should suffice.

Fallen stars fall throughout the night sky. Not only are they pretty, they are also dangerous to mobs. If a fallen star happens to hit the eye, it can do over 1000 damage, crippling the eye massively. Tales have been told about a humble fisherman who this happened to in a different world, but Gabriel knew that the chances of that happening to him are about 1 in 3028409428029184290.

In the past, Gabriel did several yolo missions to the dark Corruption. He broke two shadow orbs which yielded a gun known as a musket. Like the type of ones the Americans used in the 1700s. Though he would mainly use the Amarok and Frostbrand, it didn't hurt to have multiple options.

Gabriel had his eyes on the prize (ew pun why) and thought he was ready. The eye didn't stand a chance.

Unfortunately...

That's what everyone else thought who tried to fight it.
