High school. Everyone has their views about high school, stereotypes, the girls, the boys, the teachers sports and many more. Even in our previous school, that was life.

Steph was in a group of popular girls. I on the other hand, wanted less attention. Sadly, since I was her twin people would confuse me for her. That has happened more times than I would like to admit.

People would look up to us as if we were gods, perfect beings to be worshipped. Steph loved the attention and to add up she just had to date the golden boy, Caleb. Nick didn't know about them because we went to different schools. I always felt so uncomfortable around those people, even during lunch I had to seat with them. So annoying. She had to break up with him before moving schools. I felt bad for the guy cause he seemed to have genuinely liked her. Maybe it was just me but okay.

Now seated in my mother's car, I looked at Wankan high. I was more than nervous. Karan had texted me informing me that Nick and him had volunteered to be our tour guides. That meant more time with the popular squad. I'm sure you they had more people in that group. Meaning more attention to the new twins.

What a joy!

"Let's go or we'll be late," Steph says picking up her back. We both hugged mom and waved towards her as she drove away.

'Now for the grand entrance' I internally told myself as Steph walked ahead.

The moment Steph opened the door to the entrance, the whole hallway was silent. Like some cliché highschool movie. The quiet whispers were there, the glances and stares very present. I was very uncomfortable, trying to hold my back. Steph seemed not to be bothered.

Steph kept on walking as if she had being in this school before.

" Where are you going?" She just pointed ahead and I lifted my head to look. There standing was Nick, in all his glory. He had black ripped jeans and a white polo shirt. He looked to handsome with his leather jacket held on his shoulder by his hand. And him leaning on the lockers just added to the bad boy stance he had. He looked heavenly that's a fact but when I turned to his colleague, boy was I wrong.

He had brown eyes, black hair that was laid down perfectly. He had a smug grin on his face, definitely noticed me looking. What can I say, he was fine! He wore a leather jacket and a fitting muscle shirt. He definitely wanted his body to show. He also had some blue skinny jeans and white Nike's. Damn!

(I'm trying to improve describing appearances. Tell me if it was alright. But I'll search for photos if you'll like that.)

I didn't even notice that I was still standing in front of that boy still staring at him.

"Take to me to dinner first, beautiful." And that made me blush so hard I had to look away. At the moment, my black sneakers were the most fascinating things.

"I'm Fred and you?"

I think I hadn't answered or even heard the question, cause Steph snapped her fingers in front of me.

"Earth to you sis, and her name is Stella," she says answering the boy's question.

"Isn't she a beauty?"

"Yes she is." I know that voice.

It didn't even take long, for someone's hands to be around me, hugging me.

"Karan," I said lifting my head to look at him.

"Shortie," he answers.

"Do you have to call me that all the time?"

"Yes I do." Those words actually teleported me to another universe. Why say it like we are getting married? Why I'm I weird around him?

If those words hadn't affected me, the fact he said I was beautiful sure did. I just remained silent, secretly enjoying his hands around my shoulders. True to the saying, all good things always come to an end.
