[AN: If you have watched TharnType episode 2, I've already posted a review/reaction. Let's discuss.
Previous chapter: They all went to ChiangMai and participated in the lantern festival. It was time for the trio to go back to the US. However, Mew opted to stay in Thailand?]
"P'Mew, we've arrived safely. I'll be starting on my new work next week."
"I'm gonna get killed because of you. People at the office are asking why you are still not here."
The trio was having a zoom meeting. It was late at night in Thailand while it was morning in the US. It had been a couple of days since Third and Singto returned.
"Aunt says you should answer your phone. She keeps asking me what made you stay there." Third scratched his head.
"Uh. I'll answer her call... when I feel like it."
"Shit, Mew." Singto groaned. "I can't even hand in your resignation letter, you asshole. White wants to speak with you! Your extended vacation better produce something good."
It was just a whim. Literally minutes before they were about to board the plane, Mew made the decision to stay. He handed a bewildered Third all souvenirs he bought and only took with him his clothes.
"But what about work, Mew?!" Singto asked back then.
"I'm resigning."
"That's insane, P!" Third exclaimed. "What am I going to do with your stuff huh?!"
"Take it to mom. I'll just explain to her when she calls."
But he had rejected all calls from her. Mew kind of feel rebellious. Also, he wants to take a break from all his emotions. True, they have just spent a full month on vacation, but he felt that his feelings were still tangled and barbed. He had started curing his insomnia. Why stop now?
And...
He wants to check if Third was correct in his judgement on his feelings.
If he likes Gulf more than a cousin.
Because he's afraid that it's true. Mere minutes before he decided not to board the plane, it was Gulf's face that kept swimming on his mind. Before they even arrived at the airport, it was Gulf's well-being he was thinking about. He kept imagining what it would be like to spend more time with him.
