They lived together. They separated. They met again.
23:59 is filled with sweet and painful memories.
When they encounter each other again, will 23:59 erase the painful ones, or add to heightened feelings of developing admiration?
I should really s...
It was way past midnight when they arrived in Sukhothai.
Gulf had never been in this part of Thailand before, and it was still too dark to appreciate anything. He didn't get why Mew had to bring him this far – and at this time.
Mew was prepared though. He parked on a hillside and started unearthing stuff from the car trunk. Minutes later, he was setting up a huge tent as well as a mini table in front of it.
"Seriously, Mew? Camping?" Gulf asked.
"Yes. Camping!" Mew said excitedly despite being tired from driving. "I've never done this before!"
Gulf groaned. "You could have at least told me? I don't have anything!"
"Don't worry about it. Whatever you need, it's here." Mew pointed at the car.
"Clothes?" Gulf asked.
"Check." Mew nodded.
"Food?"
"Check."
"Powerbank?"
"Check."
"Toiletries?"
"Check."
Gulf frowned and sat at the pouf that Mew had extracted from the pile. Indeed, he can see now how loaded the car was. There are even blankets, an electric fan and coffee mugs and snacks.
"You still should have told me."
"It's a surprise!"

Mew joined him after erecting the tent. It was 4am and nobody was around. He poured hot chocolate on one mug and gave it to Gulf.
"I've searched places we can visit here, but I'd like to experience something first."
Gulf sipped his drink and it warmed him immediately. He can barely decipher what was around them, but judging from something sparkling in front of them, they might be close to a river.
Mew rejected a call from Saint and played instrumental music on his phone. Gulf saw it and chewed his lip. Calling someone at this hour?
"Answer it. It must be urgent."
"It isn't. We've already talked and this is him probably drunk."
"He went all the way from the States just to see you Mew. It's wrong not to entertain him."
"Saint is a lonely person." Mew said as he stared at his own cup. "We met in the office, in which their parents are part-owners. Win was into management, so naturally, he took up a position there. Saint is his not-so-sociable twin. He was shy and had a problem with confidence. He was always overshadowed by Win whether it's work or communicating with people."
