The next day soon came and I slept great. I looked at the time and it read, 5:36 a.m. Really? And I thought I was still that girl that always woke up five hours later.

I looked at Tikki and saw she was asleep. How cute was all I could think. She didn't like me at all. But I guess I had to deal with her for a long time. But that didn't mean couldn't be nice. I'm known to be kind to anyone that crosses my path. Though, if I get scared, I over exaggerate. But then everything is good after.

I did my morning routine which included, taking a shower, brushing my teeth, washing my face just in case, doing some yoga to warm up my muscles, sing some scales to warm up my vocal cords and that was it.

I pressed my nightstand button and some random man answered.

"How may I help you miss"?

" Can I get a tour of the place so I won't have to ask anymore. I don't even know where anything besides this bedroom is".

"Chambers, I presume. But yes, I'll be there right away and give you a tour".

" thank you sir".

"My pleasure princess" .

A few seconds went by and I heard a knock on my door. There, I saw an old man with white hair. He had soft blue eyes and looked really nice. He looked around seventy. But since I'm sure he's a vampire, he must be much older. Or he really was just a human being. But I wasn't going to ask, yet.

He showed me the shortcuts to anywhere and the long ways. Though, I actually preferred the long ways since there were much more windows and not some boring hallways.

I got to see the gardens and everything. I was even able to visit the throne room, though, I was told to never touch anything without permission from anyone. So I guessed this place was off limits for me. But the rest was for me to enjoy. And my next destination was going to be the kitchen.

We headed there and it was quite large. It reminded me a bit like the size of my bedroom, or, how people here would call it, chambers. The huge kitchen was very nice. But it was empty. So the people that cooked here were probably sleeping. Or not. Because I thought I read a book where vampires supposedly don't sleep. But no, i think they do.

I told the old man I wanted to stay here and he just gave me a puzzled expression.

"What do you mean you want to stay here. Only the cooks stay here. Why would you want to be here"?

" I want to make some desserts "!

" Hmm, and, Will you need assistance with anything"?

"Um, I think so. The oven. I will need help putting the batch in and out of the oven. The rest will be simple".

" Ok. You can ask me when the time is right. I'll just be supervising over you".

I nodded and set off to work. It made sense how he thought I'd need a lot of help. Especially because I was only five, but that didn't mean anything.

I mixed the batter for both macaroons and cookies and poured it all into the tray. Many little circles were seen. And they looked great so far. Now, as long as I didn't let them burn, everything would be good.

I remember the time when Alfred left me unsupervised for only five minutes, the kitchen was on fire when he returned. Very great day in my opinion. Though, I did get a scolding afterwards. Jason and Dick made fun of me. But I couldn't care less.

I told the guy it was time and he happily put the batches of cookies and macaroons in. Now I had to wait. And I hoped my mother would let me have some more time before anything.  It was already past six in the morning so she must be looking for me.

And I was right. She appeared in the kitchen and looked at me.

"I found you".

" Yes. Yes you have". Was all I could say.

"Great, now that you're awake, you'll have to learn a lot today. And tomorrow, it'll be your first day of school. But don't worry, you'll go with Adrien. And you'll be taking a test to see which grade fits you. Though, kindergarten might be the best choice".

" I don't think so mother".

I went back to the oven and just stared at my doings. They were looking great. I saw the guy prepare a glass of blood I think and hand it over to my mother who happily drank. And I myself got a cup. But this was animal blood. Not as good as human blood but good enough.

Now I wondered why I never ever tasted blood until now. Have I never even encountered blood before? Was I never close enough to smell it? Was I always so stupid?

Nah, I've always been stupid. Just like Jason.

That's what Jason would always say ,'We're too alike". And I can't blame him. It's true.

I finished my glass and waited for the treats.

Eventually, after a long time later, it was time to take the sweets out. I told the guy. And he gave me a smile and grabbed the oven. He soon took out the batches of colorful deserts and they looked nice and very good.

I waited for them to cool and I got a large glass jar and put them inside. I then walked up to my room, now that I had the entire palace memorized, and closed the door on my way. Tikki was awake and looking through the window.

I set the jar on my nightstand and opened one of the many secret drawers the room had. I found some simple crayons and blank sheets of paper and rapidly started making some sketches of the palace and everything. I sketched down every single room I remembered and made some maps on which ways to go and several other things.

I then got bored and let my hand sketch whatever it wanted. I was just thinking of the throne room and all of the smallest designs that were barely visible. But I saw them all. And, when I looked at my sheet, it had a blank face with a person wearing a very detailed sun dress. She had a lovely tiara as well but I paid more attention to the dress. I picked up a crayon and filled in certain parts of a dress. And I used other crayons and the dress itself was now lovely.

I felt something inside of me light up. As if, this was what I was meant to do with my life. Sure, I was great at sketching, but clothes? I barely understood fashion but I've always been complimented on what I wear and the way I wore everything. It was as if I had a connection to the world of fashion. And now, I wanted to sketch down some more designs that have come from certain rooms I have seen.

Maybe coming here wasn't to bad. Maybe finding out what I was wasn't bad either. Maybe everything that's happened was all for good. The universe gives us our paths to choose. And there is only ever six wrong ones and one right one. And I think I found my path.

Now all that's left is to bring people with me.

Fun facts

I know almost nothing about vampires but decided to do this anyways.

Ooh, also, I LOVE old people. Like, they're the nicest people in earth, unless you make them made it something.

And, I personally hate make-up. Not sure about you people but I just don't like applying things in my face. Not saying it makes people ugly, because that's not true. Makes people look great actually, but I just don't like that stuff. It gives me nightmares and stuff.
