Chapter 4:

The events that transpired at the party were unknown to the other party goers and no one was exposed. Still the things Raven and Maxwell had learned had not faded from their memory. Things were going to be different and now that they knew what was happening they could learn more and prepare themselves. Daniela explained more in depth what the purpose of the ritual was and why they were needed.

" I was already destined to be apart of the three about a hundred and something years ago. When the prophecy came to our town, they searched and had someone who 'knew' how to find us. The man who found told my parents I was part of the prophecy forced me into this state and made me become a vampire. I was tracked for years until I finally got the strength to disappear. Being a vampire, I wasn't able to walk in the light so I had to only travel at night, searching for someone who could help me. Finally, I had come across a witch... One who's magic was powerful. Your grandmother maxwell. She made me something to walk in the light and I figured I couldn't risk her reversing it so I did the first thing that came to mind. I killed her, when I came across this town a year or so ago I was looking for the last two people. I thought it was your mother but her home was already burning when I arrived, and so I left. Now here you both are. Raven your bloodline seems to be a direct link from the first of werewolves. As in yours with witches Maxwell. I was turned by one of the first vampires so here I am as well."

Maxwell hadn't really paid attention after he heard that Daniela was the cause of his grandmothers death. They sat in his kitchen and Raven could tell that the anger was building in him.

" Are you doing okay?" Raven asked.

" It's a lot to take in, you killed my grandmother! I should kill you!" He spat at Daniela. She cringed a little.

" I really can't stand the fact of knowing that! And after she HELPED YOU!" He wasn't trying to hold his anger in anymore. He stood up and the heat in his eyes radiated off of his body. He clenched his fists and glared at Daniela. She backed up a little and frowned.

" Go ahead and get angry, but if you kill me you'll never know how to stop the prophecy against you and would you be okay with the world being turned upside down?" Daniela raised her eyebrow and smirked. Maxwells fists unclenched and he sat back down.

" This doesn't change anything between us, I don't like you and if you cross us I will kill you." He told her. He left the kitchen and headed to his bedroom. Raven looked at Daniela, a glare forming on her face.

" Don't tell me you're mad at me too?" Daniela asked, as she walked over to the fridge. Raven rolled her eyes and took out her phone. She texted Maxwell asking if he was okay. He texted back he just needed to think. She put her phone away.

"You didn't have to be a bitch about it. You killed his grandmother, have some respect." Raven told Daniela. Daniela turned around toward Raven and her eyes liquified black. Her image blurred and she appeared behind Raven, her arm around her throat.

" Look here, no one gave me any condolences after my family was slaughtered in front of me. My baby brother ripped to shreds in his crib. Don't expect me to give that curtesy." Her grip tightening. Raven growled and her body began to grow, fur sprouting from her skin. She twisted and turned and thrashed until she broke free. Her clothes were ripped and in the place before her stood a large wolf. She barked at Daniela and she backed up a little. She wasn't dumb, and she knew a bite from a werewolf could be potentially fatal. Raven charged and head butted Daniela, sending her flying into a nearby wall. Daniela got up and using her speed, she slammed into Raven. They rolled around own the ground, Daniela dodging bites and Raven dodging fangs. Suddenly, they were both thrown to opposite sides of the kitchen.
