Chapter 6

Starting school was a drag for everyone. After the events that transpired during the weekend everyone was sluggish. Maxwell and Raven split with the rest of the group to head to their first period class. Their teacher was out for the week so they got to watch movies. Raven and Maxwell took that as an opportunity to catch up on some well deserved sleep.

Daniela was in class bored out of her mind, she thought that coming back would be a little fun but nothing was yet brought to her attention that would be fun. She pouted and sat back in her chair.

" So do they know where were going for Senior Ditch Day? I told Paul that most of us want to go to a water-park. " said some girl behind Daniela. Her attention piped up and she began to listen in. Apparently, there was a day when seniors don't go to school and have fun at a random place of enjoyment. Daniela liked this idea, the bell rang for lunch and she walked off to tell the others.

" Really? You didn't know about ditch day?" Maxwell said almost spilling his juice on himself.

Daniela scoffed. " I never really cared about school so I never paid attention to events and stuff like that. Paid attention to the basics and essentials and made it through all these years." She said defending herself.

" Well Senior Ditch day does sound fun, im in." Raven said. Erick smiled and put his hand in too.

" Well you know that means me too."

Maxwell thought about it. " Well I don't want to be the only one here so you know ill go."

Daniela smiled. " Tomorrow is going to be a good day."

" I didn't know we had to wear bathing suits.", Daniela said frowning.

Maxwell laughed. " Why did you think me and Raven came in ours ? But don't worry I packed yours anyway, here to change."

Daniela grabbed her bikini and headed off to the girls changing rooms. Everyone was in a bathing suit. Maxwell was wearing a hip hugging pair of green, purple and white plaid swimming trunks that exposed his v-line. Raven wore a red two piece bikini, leaving little to the imagination. Her mate Erick wore a pair of black trunks. Daniela came out with a body hugging baby blue bikini. Her blonde hair cascading down her back, with the blue highlights complimenting her swimwear.

" Damn, I have to admit we look good." Maxwell said. He was already heading out towards the larger pool.

" Me and Erick are heading to the waves, I want to show him i can actually stay up for more than ten seconds." Raven said, dragging Erick away. Daniela shrugged, it was time for her to make some friends.

Daniela walked towards the splash pads, and looked at them confused. A guy was standing in front of her dripping wet with a huge dorky smile on his face.

" I don't get it, it's not a pool or slide. How are you getting wet?" She asked him. He smiled and grabbed her hand, she was about to toss him when he pulled her close. She was halted when water shot from the ground and swirled around them. Jets of water then started shooting up from all around them in different sequences and patterns. For a moment she had forgotten all about her past and the horror of her childhood and was captivated by the water. Suddenly, a water jet shot up between them and she let out a shocked squeal and then covered it up by laughing. The water jets kept spraying around and she soon was soaked.
