Chapter 11 : A Death in The Family prt 2

Chapter 11

Maxwell turned the body over, and found Sean laying motionless. His eyes rolled to the back of his head as half of his skull was smashed into his head. Maxwell screamed out in agony, and leaned over Sean. Darkness blasted from the building and engulfed it. Maxwell placed his hand over Sean's body, and began to chant.

He was trying to heal him, and he saw his skull starting to heal. He was smiling and put his head on Sean's chest.

" Come on, breathe... Don't die, please." Maxwell pleaded, and saw no response in Sean. Tears were falling from his face, and hitting Sean. Not that far away, Mike lay unconscious as well. Maxwell panicked, hoping he wasn't dead as well. That was when Daniela and Carlos appeared. They ran over to Maxwell.

" NO! Go over to Mike, see if he's okay please!" He cried, and Daniela went to go check on Mike.

On the roof, Raven jumped at the unknown man. He laughed and disappeared. Erick shifted and attacked as well.

" You'll never get me, but don't worry...this is only the beginning. The worse has yet to come." The man laughed before disappearing into the night. It wasn't long before everyone made it to Maxwell.

" I know what to do, I think I can bring him back." Maxwell said. The guys helped pick up Sean and carry Sean into the building that they had just came from. The others carried Mike. When they entered the building, Maxwell closed his eyes. All around them, the air began to get thicker.

" Get me some type of liquid or some candles." Maxwell ordered. It wasn't long before they found a bottle of oil. They poured it around Maxwell and Sean, and it suddenly burst into flames. Maxwell began to chant, and he closed his eyes. The energy around him began to fill him, and he soon drifted off into a different state of mind. When he opened his mind, he was in a while different place. He looked around, and someone appeared before him.

" Welcome to Purgatory." They said, and disappeared. This had to be where Sean was. He began to walk around and search for Sean's spirit. He searched around and found lost souls, but didn't see Sean.

Back at the building, the others watched Maxwells body drop. Daniela laid on Carlos and was in tears. Mike woke up and instantly ran to both bodies. He began crying over Sean's body. This shouldn't have happened.

Back in Purgatory, Maxwell faced darkness. Sean burst from it, and grabbed him.

" You have to get out of here!" He screamed. Maxwell was stunned and too shocked to know what to do.

" What? What's wrong??" Maxwell asked. Just then, a dark tendril shot from the darkness and wrapped around Sean. A couple more appeared, and began to wrap around Maxwell as well. Maxwell screamed and his scream broke through him and out of his body where the others could hear. Blake dropped to him, and held him close.

" Leave! This is the only chance you have ! GO!!" Sean yelled. Maxwell was about to Protest, but Sean suddenly burst into flames. His scream burned through Maxwell and he broke the connection over the spell he was casting and gasped as he came back to the others.

Maxwell turned to Sean's body, and it also burst into flames, and Mike jumped back. His body then turned to ash and disappeared.

" I couldn't do it! I couldn't save him!" Maxwell said crying. Blake held him close, and tried to stop his crying.

Everyone turned to Mike to see what was wrong with him, or if he was going to kill himself. Mike was crying but, he didn't seem that much hurt.

" What??!" Mike yelled.

" You should have died or gone crazy?! That was your mate!" Daniela exclaimed.

" Umm..." Mike stalled.

Raven cocked her head to the side. " What do you mean umm?? Is there something you're not telling us?"

Mike cleared his throat, " Well, we may not have been real mates... His mate died last year, and his wolf accepted me. So our connection wasn't that strong." Mike said, trying to explain.

[ so you guys I just decided this is a short chapter kinda like a filler ... Mostly because of ANDRE' THOMAS.. But ill be posting a longer one tomm...
