I flattened out my pleated shorts, taking another look in the mirror. No, I didn't want to be doing this, but that didn't mean that I was going to go out looking like a bum. One thing that I was genuinely happy about was my sense in style, but because I didn't go out very much, I didn't really have times to show that off.
"You look so good, Bails! I think that I'm more excited about this than you," Serena said, looking my outfit up and down approvingly.
I nodded, "Well, it doesn't help that you told mom and dad that I was going on a date with him. That's so annoying." I said, grabbing my clutch that was on the bed.
She frowned, "Well, Blake did say it was a date."
I shook my head, "But it's not. And no matter how many times I tell mom and dad that we're just friends, they don't believe me. So thanks for that." I said with a sarcastic smile towards my sister, the both of us making our way out of my room.
"Oh, suck it up and stop being a baby. Get your fine ass downstairs," She said playfully, leading the both of us down the steps.
"Oh my goodness, you look gorgeous, Bailey," My mom said once we reached the top of the stairs. I smiled, my cheeks slightly flushing, "Thanks mom."
