At around 5pm, my door opened to an excited voice, "I'm here, bitch."
I grinned as Avani put her things dow on my bed before coming over to give me hug. She saw that I was once again studying and shook her head, "No way. You're not touching any of those books until I leave."
Avani was my best friend outside of my family, and quite frankly one of the only ones that I actually hung out with one on one. I admired how she was always herself, even when people hated on her.
I rolled my eyes and laughed at her, "For once in my life, I agree with that statement. But only because we have the hair stylist coming in 30 minutes."
Avani grinned, "I know! I'm so glad that you're agreeing to this. I feel like blonde highlights are going to suit you."
I smiled, "I hope so."
Because of covid, we had to have a stylist come to the house since we can't go out to salons. My sister wanted to get touch ups to her hair, and convinced me to get something done to mine. I'm not very fond with change, so this was something little that I could do that wasn't permanent.
Eventually, the hair stylist came and decided to do my hair first, so he before I knew it, I was officially half blonde. :) ———
