The First Cutiemark

It had been five years since Luna and Rainbow Dash expressed their feelings for each other, Cherry Bomber and Hightide where now going to school.

Cherry sat in the schoolhouse next to her twin brother who was shorter that her. "Ok class it's time for recess!" Ms. Cheerilee announced to the class. All nine kids stampeded out of the School and onto the playground. Cheery quickly made her way to the Arcade in the front of the schoolyard where the game 'Guardians of Sunshine' which was her favorite game. She had brought a couple of extra quarters from home so she could play longer.

After 3 deaths and a quarter later Cherry made it to the last level. "Whoa..." Tide said in awe as he came towards his sister from the jungle gym. "You made it to the last level!" He said. "Sure did! And it only cost me an extra quarter." She said before Sleepy Sam the last boss appeared on the screen. "Hey everypony! Cherry is on the last level!" Tide announced. All the colts and fillies came from all around the playground beside the rich, snotty foals that didn't care. Cherry Bomber quickly used the combo to lower Sleepy Sam's health, "Up, Down, Left, Left, Right, Right, Down, Spin, Down, Up, Left, Right, Left, Down, Spin, Up, Down, Jump!" She mumbled to herself. The combo move worked and Sleepy Sam had just enough health for a bomb to destroy him. "Cherry! Cherry! Cherry!" Tide started to cheer, at first he was all alone and then the others joined him. The mentioned filly smiled at the fact her classmates had faith in her. She quickly pressed the B button and used the bomb.

The colts and fillies cheered the name of the victor, "Cherry! Cherry!" The orangish pegasus filly smiled as she moved her red shaded mane out of the way she the but 'CB' as her nickname for the high-score slots. When she pressed enter Cherry Bomber noticed a small flash behind her, when she turned around there was a cherry-colored bomb on her flank. Suddenly the school bell rang the signal telling the foals that school was over. Hightide and Cherry stared at each other then said, "We've gotta tell Mom!" The twins said in unison before flapping their little wings in the direction of their home.

---At the Dash/Billy/Luna Residence---

While Billy was working at the Rainbow Factory (and not the murderous one) Luna and Rainbow usually spent some quality time together whether it was reading, eating , or physically pleasing each other. (If you know what I mean. *wiggles eyebrows*)
But usually they stopped all of that when the foals got home from school, "Mom!" The rainbow-haired mare heard the two squeaky voices call as they burst through the door. "What?" She replied with more enthusiasm than usual. Cherry Bomb turned around to show Luna and Rainbow the mark on her flank. "Huzzah!" Luna cheered. "Good job kiddo! Tell us the story when Dad gets home, ok?" Cherry nodded.

"I found some possible replacements for Rainbow Dash." Princess Twilight Sparkle gave Princess Celestia a folder full of pictures and information about Rainbow's relatives. The princess looked through all of the files on the relatives. "I think I like this one..." Celestia mumbled to herself then showed Twilight the pony's files. "I was thinking the same thing Princess."
