THE AROUSING CAVEMAN (the gentleman, caveman of mine)

CHAPTER EIGHTH

        Ria can't still believe what she had seen last night. They were talking at the restaurant after they finished eating. She just saw that everything was slowly and gradually fading away. May ilang beses niyang kinusot at kinurap kurap ang mata niya. Maski ang suot niya ay uti unting naglaho at bumalik sa dati.

May halong panghihinayang ang naramdaman niya. Gustong gusto niya kasi ang suot niyang yun. That's the time when she remembered what he said before they started to eat, that 'they have to eat before the time ends'

Right there, Blue started to explained to her. He can do things that's imposible to do with a normal people like her. Like just what happened last night. He can be with anyone, anywhere, anytime he wants. But he can only do that for a couple ot time. He can read her mind or should he say, he can hear them, pero hindi lahat, ang mga taong gusto lamang niyang pakinggan. He can chose who he wants to hear.

Right after Blue said that, at that moment he explained to her that, she requested him not hear her thoughts. Masaya siyang pumayag ito.

Blue just said what he could do, but not everything yet. Hindi na siya nagpumilit pang malaman. Kumapit na lang siya sa sinabi nitong maghintay siya, at yun ang ginagawa niya ngayon. But she can't promise herself how long she can wait. Habang tumatagal, lalo siyang nababaliw kakaisip.

"Kung kaya mo akong dalhin kung saan, bakit binabalik mo pa ako dito?" She ask while lying on the bamboo bed.

"I don't know. I'm sorry. Inaalam ko pa lang din ang bagay yun"

Risa smiled sadly. "Kung hindi mo alam, then why are you blaming your self? You said it's your fault?"

Tumagilid si Blue paharap sa kaniya. "It's my fault to drag you here. I don't know the reason but im sure that it's me."

Why am i feeling i pity him. Maybe because he's telling the truth?

"Kaya kong ibalik ka sa inyo gaya noong ginawa ko nung isang gabi. Pero hindi ko alam kung bakit bumalik ka dito."

She hurriedly rise up. "You did that? So it means it's all true? They're not just a dream?" Her eyes getting watery.

Blue nod.

"Thank you..." She feels like she have to thank him for doing that. Now she knows that they're okay and safe.

Blue's looking at her unbelievably. "I don't know why are you thanking me, but i feel overwhelmed."

"It's for, at least you tried to get me back to my family. Naramdaman ko na gusto mo talaga akong tulungan, and that's why you deserve to be thank."

Blue just stared her for a couple of minutes. He just don't know what to say. Ang akala niya magagalit ito sa kaniya, but to his surprise, Ria thank him for doing that.

"What?" Ani Ria nang mapansin niyang nakatitig lang ito sa kaniya.

Natatawang umiling si Blue, and tap his side upang pabalikin si Ria sa pagkakahiga nito kanina.

"Why are you smiling?" Tinaasan siya nito ng kilay. "Are you reading my mind again Blue?" Aniya saka naningkit ang mga matang tinitigan ito.

"Hell no!" Gagad agad nito. "Noong sinabi mo na ayaw mong pakinggan ko ang nasa isip mo, hindi ko na ginawa. I know how to make a promises."

"Siguraduhin mo lang! Ayokong napapahiya ako ng hindi ko alam! Baka akala mo hindi ako lalaban sayo. Lumaban ka lang ng patas, kaya kitang patumbahin! Walang gamitan ng powers! Ano laban ka!"

Bumangon si Blue at hinarap si Ria. "Who said i will fight you? I can't do that. Even if i can do strange things, i will not use it to you."

"Weeehh? E ano yung kagabi?" Tukoy nito sa ginawa nito kagabi na kumain sila isang high class Italian restaurant.
