THE AROUSING CAVEMAN (the gentleman, caveman of mine)

CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

   Ria had no choice but accept him as her new taga-bantay, na ikinatuwa naman din niya. Pero masama pa rin ang loob niya dito.

Nakausap na niya ang kapatid, at ipinaliwanag na dito ang nangyari, at tinaggap niya ang desisyon nito.

"What do you want to eat?" Blue suddenly appeared. Nasa sariling silid siya at nanonood ng TV.

"You..." She boredly said.

Blue slightly shock by what she said. He gulp.

Walang buhay na tinapunan niya ito ng tingin, at nangunot siya sa itsura nitong parang nagulat na hindi mapakali.

Then she realized what she had said. She frenetic stand up. "What i mean is, you!.... Ikaw... Anong gusto mo?"

Blue face went back to normal. "Kung anong gusto mo, okay lang sa akin." Anito.

"Ako na lang magluluto, dito ka na lang."

Ria went outside and went to the kitchen. Blue did not listen to her. Sinundan siya nito sa kusina.

"I want to help." He insisted.

Ria just shrugged, kinuha nito lahat ng sangkap na gagamitin niya sa pagluluto. Pareho silang gutom dahil, hindi sila nag agahan. Tinanghali siya ng gising at ganun din si Blue.

She can't sleep last night because she was thinking about Blue. Galit siya pero may parte ng pagkatao niya na ayaw niyang umalis ito.

"Anong lulutuin mo?" Blue asked.

"Hmmmm.... Adobo."

Blue nod. "Sigurado masarap yan, kasi ikaw magluluto." Anito na ikinangiwi ni Ria. She can cook, but she's on to cooking. Ang mga luto niya ay masasabing 'pwede na'.

"I'm not sure, baka hindi mo magustuhan." Aniya.

Blue released the knife he was holding, and stop cutting the onion. Nang angat ito ng tingin sa kaniya. "You know what? Hindi pa ako nakakakain ng adobo."

Ria was putting her apron and suddenly stop from knot the apron, when she heard what he just said. "Hindi pa?" Ria can't believed that there's someone who prior to taste adobo. Mayron pa palang tao sa pinas ang hindi makakatikim ng adobo.

Blue draw near her and went behind her. He tied the apron for her, and when his finished knot it from the back, he place his both palm in her shoulders.

"Maybe before, I can't remember it now." Anito.

Ria is looking at his hands who's holding her shoulders. It's warm and soft.

"Baka matagal ka ng hindi nakakain ng ganun kaya nakalimutan mo na."

Nawala ang kamay ni Blue sa ibabaw ng balikat niya. Napasinghap siya nang bumalot ang mga braso nito sa baywang niya, he was hugging her from behind, and he feel his breath on her nape.

Kinikilabutan siya sa tuwing tatama ang mainit na hininga nito sa batok niya.

"I really can't remember anything." Blue murmured, saka yumuko at pinatong ang noo sa kaliwang balikat ni Ria.

Ria was confused about what he was telling. "I lost my memories." Blue murmured again.

Ria's lips parted because of confusion. She could not quite believe what he just said.

She slipped out from his embraced and face him. Nakayuko ito at hindi siya magawang tignan ng diretso. She cupped his face with her hands and went straight to his eyes. She felt pitty on him. "How did it happened?" Aniya.
