Chapter 16

The deal

My eyes slowly open into darkness.  Rubbing my eyes with my arm, I pull out my phone and turn it on.  The bright light blinds me as I try to cover my eye.  Should have expected that...  Anyway.. It is.. 12:00 AM.. Perfect time. The room was quiet and pitch black, sounds of light snoring was the only thing heard. 
I quietly climb down the ladder and started to get my clothes.  I soon headed to the bathroom and got dressed for work.  I was in a rush since today some business woman is coming and some reason choosed the restaurant I work at.  I grab my skateboard by the door and quickly headed to work.  Time for snobby rich people hour..

"Finally! My shift is over! That was a fucking nightmare!" I yell in relief as I walk down the alleyway away from the entrance.  As expected, rich people were rude and ungrateful.  Somehow. Me and the other workers survived the disaster.  But~ we did get paid a lot, in which I got 450$!  Hell yeah!

I carry my skateboard as I make my way out of the ally.  The sky was starting to slowly bright up as darkness flowed away.  The light wind gently blows on my face and through my bangs. 
Putting the skateboard down, I get on and start to skate back to Hope's Peak.  As much as I wanted to stay and relax in the wind- not in the alleyway of course, that's just... Weird... And sketchy... I had to go back before my roommates start to ask questions.  To which I do not have the time for.

For some reason,  I was in the mood to do something today.  Which was probably because I didn't do much yesterday and didn't even set the school on fire nor did I do my evening tag with Kaito, Shuichi, and Maki-
Suddenly, a thought pops up into my head, a huge grin forms on my face. 

"Why didn't I think of that! Ugh!" I curse to myself.  I shake my head.  This isn't the time to go on a cursing spree with yourself!  I can do that later, but now is now, and I have the perfect idea on what to do today~  I laugh to myself. 
"Better get ready Saihara-chan~ today is going to be a long day~" I whisper to myself, already having tons of ideas.

Soon, I had it all set up. Now I just need to find Saihara-chan~.   Searching through the halls, I scout out to find Saihara.  I could've just asked someone, but they'll warn Saihara most likely.  Which, isn't fun!  Soon, I find him by Piano Freak talking about something. 

"Hey Saihara-chan!~" I run over to the blonde and raven haired boy.  They both look at me.

"Oh... Hey Oma, do you.. Need anything..?"  His voice sounded nervous as if I was going to do something bad.  

"Wow, Saihara-chan sounds nervous to hang out with little old me~ but anyway!  Follow me!"  I look up at the male, who had a questionable look on.

"W-why do you want me to follow you..?" 

"Because I want to show you something!  Trust me!"

"W-what about Keade-"  Keade then cuts him off.

"It's fine, we can just talk later! Text me when your done hanging out with Oma-kun."  Kayaday does her usually bright ass smile which made me almost blind.  How the fuck can someone smile so damm brightly?!  I'm surprised Saihara hasn't turned to ash or something.

"Seeee~ even ya girlfriend agrees to hang out with little ol me~" Saihara lets out a sigh.  "Alright..." He was still skeptical, it was very easy to tell from his face.

Saihara waves goodbye to Kayaday and I lead the way.  We both just stayed silent the whole walk.  Saihara was probably thinking on what I wanted to show him.  Walking up the stairs, we make it to the library.  The last time I was here, I was the only one.

I open the door.  "Emos first~" I say bowing to him.  Saihara just shakes his head and walks in as I follow behind, I shut the door.  Saihara looks around the room, trying to see if there was something off or added.  "If your thinking I did something, your wrong~" 

"So, what did you want to show me...?"  He looks to me. 

"Well~ I want you to play chess with me!" 

"Chess...?" I nod at his response.  "Why me..?"  "Because your not boring and I have a deal."  Saihara looked curious about the last thing I said.   

"If you win, you get to ask me a question and I'll answers with the truth!"  I exclaim.  Saihara looked skeptical.  "No lies~ I promise~"

"A-alright, what if I lose..?" 

"You have to watch the Cats movie for a whole month everyday." 

".. I'll do it."  The tall boy said filled with confidence. 

"Alri-"  Saihara cuts me off.  "But, I want to add something else if I win."

"What is it?"

"You have to apologize to Kiibo and  Gonta, from what you've said to them about almost a month ago."

"Hey Kiiboy! Come and be useful and help me..!"  I was assigned to clean the shed that's outside of Hope's Peak, which was filled with boxes stacked to the ceiling.  Hall monitor thought it was a good idea to have me, Gonta, and Toaster clean it out.

"O-ok..! Here.. Let me-" Kiiboy tries and lifts the box that I was trying to lift up.  We both try to lift it together, but we instantly drop it back down.

"My god Kiiboy! Your useless!" I growl at him as I attempt to lift a different box.

"I'm not useless!  I Just can't lift certain things unlike you who can't even do 10 push-ups!" 

"W-wow.. Y- your m-mean k-kiiboy... WAHH!" I ball out in fake tears as Kiiboy tries to apologize.

"Wow! Your even stupid!  Can't believe you fell for that!" My tears were gone as I just laughed.

"Er!" Kiiboy looked angry as he tries to lift the box again.

"Ninish~ your not going to be able to lift it~ don't even try."  Even though I said that, Kiiboy still kept trying.  I roll my eyes and move to a different part of the room. 

"Wow Gonta! Your already moved these boxes?!"  Gonta side left no trace of box and was just bare, empty.

"Gonta got them all outside!  Boxes weren't that heavy."  Gonta pulls his tie as he smiled.

"Hey Gonta, can you do the rest of the boxes?  I'm going to meet my brother today who which I've haven't seen in a long time and I don't want to miss him when he leaves... Since he always is busy and doesn't come here that much... I'm worried I won't see him again and that this will be his last time..."  My face darkens and my voice sounded sad.

"Gonta will do the rest of the boxes so Kokichi can see his brother!" 

"Alright! Thank you Gonta I really appreciate it! Bye!" A huge grin forms as I sprint out of the shed.  Gonta was to easy to lie to, and very gullible.

"Hm... Alright! I'll take that!" I loudly say, I couldn't wait to beat Saihara-chan! He probably never played chess before!

"Let's start then, Oma, you start first."
