Dear diary
Hey I'm back again and today is the last day of summer break. Me and cheryl literally have been spending so much time together watching movies, swimming, cooking, shopping, laughing and just having fun. But today and this whole week she decided to hang out with betty and veronica since in her own words "we've been hanging out all summer aren't you tired of me?" Obviously I had to agree but on the inside I was hurt a little skip that a lot. See here's the thing I like cheryl more than a friend should. But the feelings definitely aren't mutual. if you wanna know how I know let me tell you
Flashback
So me and cheryl had went over Veronica's house for a sleepover and everyone was there. We were playing spin the bottle when cheryl spun and it landed on me. Her exact words were " I'm definitely not doing that. I would never kiss toni ever"and she re-spun landing on josie who she happily kissed
End of flashback.
I've liked cheryl since the beginning sophomore year. Were in senior year now. Weve been friends since eight grade.I think I've always liked her but just now started to realize it and I definitely am going to keep them to myself I dont wanna risk loosing her as a friend but anyways Cheryl said she'll meet me at my house at 6:30 to prepare for school so bye.

Toni closed her diary and placed it in her shoebox in her closet. She was bored by herself in the 3 story house all to herself. Toni's mom and dad died when she was 3 in a plane crash so she stayed with her grandpa till she was old enough and found out her parents left her everything including the house shes staying in. Toni got up and decided to take a shower to kill time. Once she got done it was 7:00. She just assumed cheryl was late until her phone on the nightstand buzzed
Cher🥰🦋💞: hey toni I forgot I'm  spending the night at veronica and Betty's. I'm sorry for bailing on us
I rolled my eyes because us getting ready together the night before school is supposed to be a tradition
Me: yea okay whatever. It's fine
Cher🥰🦋💞: are you sure? You can come if you want? Ik us getting ready together the night before school is special.
Me: yup! Perfectly fine wouldn't wanna mess up your night
Cher🥰🦋💞: toni! Dont be like that we've hung out all summer
Toni: look cheryl I'm tired ok?
Cher🥰🦋💞: you literally called me my full name I know your upset toni.
Toni: I LITERALLY SAID IM NOT MAD CHERYL!
Toni: look I'm going to sleep. Goodnight cheryl.
Toni put her phone on the dresser ignoring the notifications and ringing she wanted to answer but she was too angry. This was there first real fight so she really didn't know what to do. She kept thinking  " is she replacing me?" HOW CAN SHE BAIL ON OUR TRADITION toni screamed into her pillow. She told herself she was going to ignore cheryl and went to sleep
Meanwhile at Veronica's
Guys I literally think Toni's pissed off at me cheryl said why what happened the two asked. Well you know how ever since me and toni became best friends weve been getting ready together the night before school. But obviously I'm here. She said shes not mad but look cheryl said handing them her phone to look at the message between her and toni. Shes definitely pissed veronica said. Exactly! It's like shes being selfish. Weve literally hung out all summer and almost everyday before summer  cheryl said. The one week I dont hang with her she acts like this? Well you two need to make up before the vultures get word that you two are fighting. Betty said
Ever since cheryl and toni made it to high school girls have been trying to get in between there friendship. Mostly trying to take toni away from cheryl. Yea your right cheryl said pulling out her phone to text toni
Me: toni?
Me: TT?
Me: i know your awake
Me: ugh fine!
Shes not answering cheryl said getting irritated. Well let us try betty and veronica said texting toni. Shes not responding to us either they said. Let's just let her cool down veronica said
Ugh fine cheryl said and all she could think about for the rest of the night was toni.
The next morning
Toni woke up feeling like shit. Everything from yesterday finally coming back to her. She told herself she was done with there friendship. The thing toni didn't realize was she wasn't upset at cheryl skipping there getting ready together the night before school tradition she was jealous.
Toni didn't even bother to look at her phone she just got up and went to get in the shower. Once she got out she put her out fit on and went to grab her phone looking at her notifications

Toni opend her and Cheryl's messages toni knew she wasn't being logical when she did what she was about to do but she did it anyway

She mentally cursed herself out in the head and went texted fangs and sweetpea to see if they were ready. She would normally just meet them at school but she since cheryl wasn't with her they were the next option

The three girls were getting ready for school when Cheryl's phone went off
The.best.bestie.ever🧚‍♀️🤩💞 changed your name to cheryl 😶.
Oh fuck cheryl screamed as betty and veronica ran in seeing what's wrong
Toni changed my name in her phone
Ok so? They both said
Well we made like rules when we became best friends and one of them was if one ever changes the others name in there phone its basically one step away from being like over
Betty and veronica stood blankly
Like not friends anymore over cheryl repeated
Well maybe just talk to her today betty said
Ilk try cheryl said trying not to cry hoping she didn't ruin there friendship. They finished getting ready and all left in there respective cars pulling up to school at the same time.
Its second period and toni has been purposely avoiding cheryl and them not having first period made it easier or she thought. She walked into second period and saw cheryl sitting in the front. The two were known for  always sitting next to eachother but toni ignored Cheryl looking at her and sat in the back. Gasps came from the student in the classroom as they all looked back at toni who put her head down until class started. Cheryl would constantly look back at toni but not once was toni looking at cheryl. The bell rung meaning they were on break. Toni got up quickly and walked out to the student lounge seeing nobody in there and deciding to sit down and put her headphones in pulling her diary out planning on blocking everybody out for the next hour.
Meanwhile
Cheryl got up as toni walked out she looked around obviously seeing people staring and mumbling. She knew it was only a matter of time before people were all over toni trying to be her "new bestfriend" and cheryl wanted to break down crying at the thought of it but she was the hbic so she had to hold it down. She walked out the class to see veronica and Betty running to her and pulling her in the bathroom. Look they said handing her Betty's phone
