Toni's house

Toni and Kennedy were on there way to Toni's house. We have to get snacks Kennedy said what no this is not a party and they are not guest to me toni replied. Fine Kennedy said
The two made it to Toni's house. toni threw her bookbag on the couch and they sat and watched tv until the door rang.
Cheryl veronica kevin betty and josie all went to Toni's house at the same time.
You really wanna go veronica said getting out her car and walking up to Toni's door.
Obviously not but kevin over here won't stop bugging me about it. Cheryl said.
Once toni opened the door she closed it not even letting them speak.
Do we really have to let them in toni whined
Yes now move Kennedy said going to re-open the door. Come in she said

Once they were all settled in Kevin started talking
" me and kennedy think cheryl and toni should go upstairs and talk since there the only two who have problems"
Not true I actually really dont like josie and veronica and betty aren't my biggest fans either.
What your beef with me? Josie said
Please dont speak to me toni said going upstairs and in her room.
Since shes upstairs you can go up there too and me and kev will stand by the door to makes sure you dont leave Kennedy said.
Wait so let me get this straight cheryl said you want to lock me in a room with her and fix things? Yea that's not gonna happen
Yes it is! Now go cheryl kevin said getting angry that the two girls were being stubborn.
Fine! But never talk to me again kev cheryl said walking upstairs to the room.

Toni was in her bathroom letting her hair down. She had grabbed her pink long sleeve hoodie and some blue tennis shorts with fuzzy blue and pink socks. She went in the bathroom and took off her clothes only now in her lacy black bra and panties set. When her door opend. Look kenzi I said I'm not doi- toni said walking out but stopping when she saw cheryl instead of Kennedy.
Cheryl turned back around opening the door trying to leave telling kev and Kennedy that toni was changing but there words were
"You've changed by eachother before get used to it"
Cheryl sighed and let the door nob go turning around to see toni pulling her hoodie over her.
Toni got in her bed crossing her legs, and pulling her phone out ignoring cheryl's presence.
Toni.. cheryl spoke as much as she dreaded starting the conversation she did it anyway
Toni?
What do you want cheryl?
Can we talk?
Toni turned her phone off and placed it on her nightstand.
What's there to talk about?
Our friendship obviously cheryl said
What about is cheryl? We obviously hate eachother is it even a friendship?
But I dont hate you T.T
Dont call me that! Toni said getting up and walking to the bathroom trying to ignore the conversation. Toni couldn't stand to look cheryl in the eyes.
Before toni knew it cheryl came in the bathroom locking it behind her.
Were not leaving until you talk to me. Cheryl said standing in front of the door
Fine cheryl! Toni said sitting on the counter. What do you wanna know?
Why where you so angry that day? Why did everything feel so different?
Was there a different reason your mad? Cheryl said letting the question out.
Look cheryl, as you know your WERE my only friend, only person I had to talk to about everything. I dont have parents or other friends to talk to so when you bailed on me you basically said fuck us. You spent the whole week with them and then bailed on the one day of that week that WAS special to us but. You obviously had other people you wanted to spend your time with, And what was more fucked up was you got replaced me with veronica and betty before I even met Kennedy. You knew I didn't like them nor did i like josie but you didn't care.
I cant answer all your question because it'll make things worse but that's it i guess.
Toni had finished tallking and not noticing the tears in her eyes. She was pissed at herself that she couldn't Express her feelings for he ex-bestfriend.
Toni...
I'm sorry, if I could replay everything that happed I would but you said fuck me too. I hate to admit it but I was jelous, jelous of how close you and Kennedy were and are now I was angry, you were acting like a stone cold bitch to me. I constantly tried to fix it and you constantly pushed me away.  You said fuck the rules we made when we became bestfriends. I never ever considered Betty and veronica as my bestfriends but I couldn't say the same about u and Kennedy. You told her stuff that you never ever told me. I was hurt toni
Cheryl was now crying and so was toni. The two girls sat in silence until cheryl broke it
Can I ask you something?
Toni looked up giving cheryl her attention.
Actually a couple questions
One, what were you and Kennedy talking about the night at my house?
Why did it seem like you two were more than friends?
Are you upset about more than you said you are?
Why did you tell Kennedy things you never ever told me

Cheryl I cant give you all the answers like what we were talking about but I can tell you this, nothing ever went on between me and Kennedy. I didn't lie when you asked the first time. I am upset about more than I'm telling you but I cant really tell you why, not right now. I told Kennedy those things because I was angry and wanted to replace you! But listen, I never ever wanted to intentionally hurt you as much as I did and I'm sorry for that. Now my turn to ask you something toni said
If we end up becoming friends are you going to continue talking to josie,veronica and betty? Toni said.
Toni I cant stop talking to them chery replied
Ugh ok toni said standing up walking closer to cheryl
So are we good? Cheryl asked
Yes but let's make new rules ok? Toni said cheryl agreeing
1. Whatever we feel talk it out
2. What ever we go through no replacing eachother cheryl said
3. Never put others before eachother
4. No more hiding things chery said even tho toni was hiding a big secret
And last rule is.. cheryl said thinking
5. Never ever break the rules toni said
They both wrote them down on sticky notes and put them in there pockets.
Can I give you a hug? Cheryl asked
Toni leaned in and hugged her to cheryl it was a friendly hug or she thought but to toni it was more as the skin on skin contact sent shiver down her spine. I missed you like alot toni said pulling away as tears were coming down. Trust me not more than I missed you cheryl said opening the bathroom door. They went and knocked on the door letting Kennedy and kevin know they were good.
You two look like you just came from a funeral kevin said laughing.
They all went downstairs but nobody was right there
Where did josie veronica and betty go cheryl said
We let them go home they were just sitting looking lost kevin said
Good they were infecting my couch toni said jumping to sit on her couch.
Really toni? Cheryl said
What? I cant help it I dont like them
Cheryl rolled her eyes and went to go sit on the couch
Is that how you felt when we were arguing? Cheryl said
No! I was only upset for like 2 weeks then I kinda faked like I didn't like you and you hating me made it easier.
I didn't hate you toni cheryl said rolling her eyes.
Um were gonna go kevin said
Oh I guess I can get going too cheryl said getting up.
No you stay kennedy blurted
What she means is like dont you want to like catch up kevin says
You two are acting wierd but ok cheryl said sitting back down. Toni starred at the two and both of them were smirking like they planned something. She then caught on and mouthed "I'm gonna kill both of you"
Kevin and Kennedy laughed to themselves and left out the door. Soooooo cheryl did you ever tell your mom about us not being friends anymore? Toni asked
Yea so this is how it went
Flashback
Cheryl had came from the school looking miserable. She hasn't been able to talk to toni and it's just horrible. Her mother was sitting at the kitchen table drinking tea
"Oh hey honey how's school? And wheres toni I haven't seen her with you in weeks?" Penelope asked
Well school was school and me and toni arent friends anymore chery said
What?why?What happed? Penelope asked with a shocked face.
Well we got into this argument and toni kinda stopped talking to me. She found some new girl and I've been with Betty veronica and josie so It dosent matter cheryl said
Well whatever it is will get better. "You two need to fix it, you were literally inseparable" Penelope said walking over kissing Cheryl's forehead and going upstairs.
End of flashback
Well I guess mother knows best toni said laughing.
There was a comfortable silence between the two until toni broke it
I really missed you cheryl toni said
I missed you way more cheryl said looking at toni. Toni had the urge to kiss cheryl but it quickly went away when she thought about how it would ruin there rekindled friendship. So she stood up, I'm going to use the bathroom and go get a blanket I'm cold ok? And with that toni ran upstairs
Cheryl sat looking around at the house until she spotted Toni's bookbag. A purple journal sticking out . She hurried over and grabbed it the front read ţoni.ţopazs diary/journal. Cheryl started flipping through the pages until she spotted her name on the one. She started reading it in her head
"I've liked cheryl since the beginning sophomore year. I think I've always liked her but just now started to realize it and I definitely am going to keep them to myself I dont wanna risk loosing her as a friend"
Her eyes went wide reading the journal. Toni likes me? Was what kept playing in Cheryl's mind she grabbed the journal and put it in her little red bookbag. She zipped Toni's bag up making it look untouchable. Cheryl waited until toni came back downstairs
"Hey my mom said she needs me at home but wanna like do something tomorrow?" Cheryl said as it was the quickest lie ever.
Uh yea sure toni said going to hug cheryl which cheryl hugged back. Cheryl grabbed her stuff and left the house her only thoughts were

Toni likes me?
What am I going to do?
I have to read this diary!
