The diary 📖 A Choni Story

freaking out

It's the next day and cheryl woke up extremely tired. She was up all night reading the pages in the Toni's diary. She was shocked, she didn't want to bring it up and ruin there new friendship. She didn't know what to do. She had basically read all of Toni's emotions on paper some making her shed tears at the way toni felt and others leaving her shocked at Toni's feeling for her. Cheryl thought it would be best if she kinda avoided toni but There was really only one person she could talk to about it and that was Kennedy since she obviously knew.

Toni woke up and went to go write in her diary about yesterday. She went in her bookbag but nothing was there. Panic immediately took over, she started looking everywhere,the couches drawers,kitchen, the bathroom her room and even the backyard. She didn't know what to do. If anyone found it and read it everything would be ruined for her including her rekindled friendship with cheryl which she was most worried about. She immediately texted Kennedy
Toni: I have a big problem
Kenz: what is it? You slept with cheryl
Toni: ugh no kenzi, so I had this diary with all my feelings for cheryl plus more in it but now it's gone. I've literally checked everywhere!
Kenzi: calm down you'll find it now get ready for school. Meet me there?
Toni: uh yea sure
Kennedy put her phone down as she grabbed her keys and left out when her phone buzzed again
Cheryl:  Kennedy this is cheryl, can you meet me at thistle house like now?
Kennedy: me? Uh yea sure I guess
And with that Kennedy was on her way to thistle house.
Cheryl was walking around her room. The realization that her bestfriend liked her had just set in her mind. The doorbell rung and cheryl hurried down opend it and pulled Kennedy upstairs in her room not even saying hi.
Hi to you too Kennedy said sitting on Cheryl's bed.
Why didn't you tell me toni liked me?
Cheryl just blurted it out as Kennedy was shocked at what she just heard.
What? Toni dosent like you
So you're gonna lie? Cheryl said
Fine she does but howd you know?
I found her diary yesterday and I took it and read it and now I dont know what to do. I dont know if I can even talk to her. Cheryl said
Well do you like her? Kenzi asked
Um I dont think so. Ive never felt what she feels for me and I don't want to hurt her, since were on good terms.
What should I do? Cheryl said
Well for one give me the diary and I'll act like I found it because toni is going crazy. In the meantime maybe you should talk to her. Kennedy said
what? No she'll be upset that I stole her diary and if I tell her I know it'll make things weird between us.
So act normal ok?
Ugh fine take the diary I'll see you at school cheryl said.
And with that Kennedy left and cheryl got ready

Kennedy put the diary under her seat and called toni
Hey toni I think I found your diary
Omg you did where?
Well I was getting my bookbag and it was under my seat. Meet me at school I'll give it to you.
Ok thank you kenzi!
Toni ran out the door grabbing her bookbag and keys and made her way to school
At school
Toni and Kennedy were talking outside waiting for school to start. Kennedy had gave toni her jornal.
Cheryl pulled up and got out her car seeing Kennedy and toni but they didn't see her so she turned the other way but not before toni called her.
Oh fuck she thought to herself turning around to face toni.
Do you wanna come over to my house to work on the project for ms. Turners class? Toni asked
Cheryl was nervous.
Um sure.
Are you okay you seem nervous? Toni asked
Um I'm fine I gotta go! Bye cheryl said hurrying off to first period
Toni walked up to Kennedy cheryl was acting weird she said.
what do you mean Kennedy reply knowing why Cheryl was acting wierd.
Well she was acting really nervous around me Toni said.
well maybe she's just getting used to you two being friends again she'll come around. Kennedy said now come on before were late for class kenzi said
It's now lunch time and Cheryl's been ignoring toni all day trying to figure out what to do with the toni situation. Instead of going to lunch she went to the locker room to clear her head.
A couple minutes later kevin and Kennedy came in.
Cheryl why are you ignoring toni? Kevin asked
Shes thinking something is wrong or shes did something.  Kennedy said
Well I dont know how to talk to her. Its gonna be weird especially since I know and she dosent know I know.
Well tell her you know kevin said
Wait how do you know cheryl asked
Its obvious he said.
Okay I'll tell her cheryl said mentally preparing herself.
Want us to be with you? Kevin asked.
No I'm doing it by myself she replied.

Toni was sitting at her lunch table talking to sweat pea and fangs when cheryl came up to her.
Toni can I talk to you?
Sure toni said getting up and following cheryl to an empty classroom.

My heart was beating fast and I just hope I dont mess up our friendship.
Cheryl thought.
So toni I need to tell you something but I need you to promise me you won't get mad and it won't mess up our friendship cheryl said.
I promise now what is it toni asked because you've been ignoring me. Did I do something?
So yesterday I found your diary or journal or whatever you wanna call it
Toni's face went from curious to scared
And you read it? Toni asked
Yes but only because I didn't think it was going to say what it said and I dont want anything to cha-
Look cheryl if you read it you saw it said I know you didn't feel the same way and I dont want to mess up anything between us. Toni said.
So now I know why you dont like josie and what you and Kennedy were talking about that day at my party.
Yup toni said.
She knew cheryl didn't reciprocate feeling and she knew things were gonna change but she couldn't say it. Not when cheryl thinks they're good.
So that's all? Toni said
Um yeah I guess so cheryl
Before cheryl could say anything else toni left out. 
Cheryl knew toni wasn't telling her how she actually felt about it so she pushed it to the side and went to lunch.

The two girls really didn't say anything to eachother the rest of the day.  You couldn't even tell they were friends again.
Cheryl pulled out her phone and texted Kevin and Kennedy

Cher: I made this chat. I told toni and she seemed ok but off
Kev: is that good or bad?
Kenzi: bad!
Cher: definitely bad. What should I do?
Kenzi: let it play off we dont want to make anything worse
Kev: I agree
Cher: me too! Thanks
Cheryl then went to text toni
Cher: do you still want me to come over?
Toni: uh, if you want I'm kinda tired tho
Cher: I guess we can work on it tomorrow
Toni: yea I guess so
Cheryl closed her phone and just thought
What am I gonna do
