Switched Inuyasha x reader

He saved me

You sat in the meadow filled with swaying flowers. Laying your forearms on you knees looking up at the sky. What would it take to fix this curse? You stared at the horizon as it turned to mellow orange with a splash of pink.

Inuyasha was fighting with the school girl in your body. You wondered what about as their voices were just jumbled echoes across the land.

The day you had met them all was when one of the biggest castles in feudal Japan had collapsed due to old age and eveyone had died. Except yourself, you shouted out and it was Inuyasha who had pulled you out.

You dusted yourself off and thanked them for saving you. But Kagome had come forward and offered for you to join them. As you had no home to return to because your home was literally the one you'd been piled under you'd accepted.

To this day do you regret that choice, your heart had been made of steel that no one would be getting through. So because of that you never grew close to any of them and Inuyasha's arrogant attitude set you off. There were so many lords in yoir previous home who acted like him but were a little more pompous.

So without the threat of getting bashed you annoyed him right back. Then eveyone didn't like you and begun to cast you aside knowingly or not.

Kirara was the only creature to show you any sort of kindness, even now she seemed to know that the person in your body was not you as she sat beside you and purred as you pat her to comfort yourself.

Sango cleaned her weapon as she said, "Kirara seems to have warmed up to Kagome a lot more than usual, she spends as much time with her as she used to with you (Y/n)."

Kagome still had trouble responding to that name. "Oh yes maybe she likes to change it up a bit every now and then."

Kagome was holding an ice pack up to her cheek as a bruise formed earlier no thanks to Inuyasha.

Shippo ran up to Kagome and asked, "is your cheek alright?"

"Yes I'm fine."

He replied with, "good."

She glared at the dog demon it didn't matter whose body she was in he should never hit someone who was part of their group!

Then it hit her, he should never hit anyone part of the group...

Inuyasha looked her up an down, "what's that face for?"

"You know you guys treat (Y/- I mean me terribly, especially you Inuyasha!"

His ears twitched, "maybe that's because your an ass!"

She stood up, "or maybe it's because...because I don't trust anyone enough to let you in..."

They all stared at her in utter confusion. Just before anybody else spoke the scream of Kagome's voice sounded and in seconds Inuyasha's eyes widened and he was on his feet.

"Kagome!"

While you sat there in the meadow the others were talking inside. Kirara suddenly hisses behind you, you turned and screamed when some sort of shadow creature wrapped it's mist  like appendages around you.

The thing snarled as you saw the group approaching as it covered your mouth so no more noise came out.

It slithered away with you and faster than the others could catch up. You struggled and your pleas were muffled by its...arm? If you could call it that.

Inuyasha and his friends were disappearing from veiw as it travelled further into the black forest. It seemed to know what it was doing as it had kidnapper you just on dark.
