Katie stood fist's at the ready and heat pounding, she knows deep down that she got lucky last time, they wouldn't go as easy on her now. Thor was quick to launch Mjölnir towards Katie, to his dismay she caught it sending a look towards Thor as if to say 'thank you' topped off with a smirk. Without wasting time she sent the hammer flying towards Thor knocking him on his temporal as a result sent him crashing to the ground. She drew a knife from under her sleeve and flung it across the room sinking into Natashas shoulder straight threw her subclavian vein causing Nat to scream in pain and fall to the ground. Scott shrank using the device attached to his arm, he jumped towards Katie landing on her collar bone injecting her with a glowing neon green substance. Like on reflex she flipped over, throwing any sharp object she could find. Eyes closed she was kicking, punching and stabbing anything that came in contact with her, slowly opening her eyes looking at the massacre she had caused. Nat bleeding causing an oozing river of red fire, Clint an arrow threw his heart, Thor sprawled out unconscious across the floor and the sight that made her heart drop 50 feet, Tony. Her father's lifeless body bleeding out from his neck painting the once pearl white floor a dark crimson red. Everyone she had ever loved was lying dead around her feet, blood coming out from every angle and she tried to escape she was leaving a trail of blood running up to each individual body. The once fire eyes slowly shifting into a deep blue as tears started to pool in her eyes, the river started flowing as she dropped to her knees trying to steady her breathing as she was slowly running out of air in her lungs pain burning in her veins, she had lost everything and everyone.

Realization suddenly hit her as she was sat head in her knees crying a waterfall, she was still at the school. She shot up looking around expecting to see hundreds of pupils staring in shock but what she saw shocked her. Nobody. Not a single soul everyone was gone, suddenly she started to see the pixelation fading away, she watched in confusion as her family was drifting away she ran over to Tony sliding on her knees to try and grab him but her hand went straight threw him. She looked around in confusion as everything left the school she closed her eyes tight not wanting to see whatever was about to happen but she wished it was death.

She slowly opened her eyes and looked around not knowing what she was expecting. She was in stark industries tower, the room where her father used to test out his robotic suits.

"Hello?"She questioned her voice breaking full of confusion and grief.

"Katie, you're ok," Tony reassured her as he stepped into the room causing Katie's head to shake and eyes to widen.

"No, no, no y-you were d-dead," She stuttered her breath maintaining at a steady rate whereas her tears were still raining down her face. "I killed you!"

"It was a holographic illusion," Tony explained, making his way over to her, every step he took forward she stepped back until she hit the wall behind her. "It was just a test Kate, we're all still here don't worry."

The sobs stopped which caused Tony to look up from his polished, black shoes. "It was a test?" She asked not wanting to believe that her father caused this pain for her. "Of course it was a test, it's always a test!" Now she was yelling through her tears, "Why?"

"We needed to see what you were capable of before we started treatment," He slightly whispered knowing how much pain she must be in. She had just lost everyone, she was grieving.

"Treatment!" she yelled now not bothering to look at the Avengers that were soon piled at the doorway. "I am not sick, I am not a guinea-pig for your experiments, I am not going to stay in this tower hooked up to multiple IVs and canulas. I am not going to throw my life away because you decided that I needed to feel pain!" The tears soon started to flow again after she said this threw gritted teeth, "I don't want this," she cried lowering her voice.

"I know Katie but it's what has to be done," Tony exclaimed not wanting to look her in the eyes. "I'm sorry."

Natasha ran into the room and pulled Katie into a hug, something that was rare for Nat, but she always gave the best hugs. After pulling away she looked into Katie's eyes and grabbed her hand guiding her out of the room.

"Where are you going?" Tony questioned looking at Natasha with a look that most people would describe as disgust but was really dis-belief.

"She's right, she's not a guinea-pig or a tool to use in battle!" Natasha practically yelled at Tony.

"I know that!" Tony yelled as Natasha began to walk away from him before turning on her heel to stare him dead in the eyes.

"Then don't treat her like it!" she spun back around and snaked her arm around Katie's neck guiding her towards the corridor leaving a glossy-eyed Tony behind.

"She right Stark," Scott said going to walk out. "She doesn't deserve this."

As Scott walked out Clint followed him to where Katie was. She sat with her hands around her knees staring into space emotionless, she couldn't believe that Tony, her own father, would do that to her, put her through all that pain as a 'simple' test. She suddenly jumped when something cold touched her arm, she turned around to see Scott holding a tub of ice-cream to her arm causing her to show a weak tooth-less smile.

"Thanks," she quietly mumbled taking the tub of frozen deliciousness and a spoon.

"He had no right to do that you know," Clint exclaimed pacing around her room. "How dare he!"

"Clint I'm fine I promise you," She smiled reassuring him that quickly disappeared. Her face dropped as Clints's face started to go pale and blood started to pour out of his shirt, coughing up the deep fire red that started to pour around her. Tears started to stream down her face as she was lost for words but suddenly started screaming as he fell to his knees-dead.

"Katie!" Nat screamed shaking her.

"C-clint he," she couldn't get the words out thinking back to the way the blood was pouring around her.

"I'm right here Kate," He looked at her with a worried expression.

"No, you, you were dead," she chocked out confused at how he was standing there when she just saw him die.

"That was a holographic illusion, remember?" Clint asked. "It wasn't real Kate!"

"no, no you were just coughing blood and you fell to your knees and blood was soaking through your shirt and you were dead," She cried in one breath.

Nat, Scott and Clint all shared the same look between them and then looked towards Katie who's emerald green orbs were now a deep ocean blue.

"Your eyes," Nat pointed out crouching to her level furrowing her eyes in confusion."They're blue."
