"Who's goin' to help me pull pranks when ya leave?" questioned the short girl that was helping Felix load the SUV.

"You still have Emmett," Felix replied, placing Jane's makeup case inside the trunk, "I'm sure he can help you prank Edward and your uncle."

Aria pouted crossing her arms like a small child, "But we don't get caught when we prank people Feli-bear, I'm always a suspect when Emmett and I prank them."

Felix chuckled as he watched his tiny companion pout. Her bottom lip stuck out slightly as she looked up at him through her lashes. He thought back to last night, it was one of the best nights of his life. It was a glorious time between her, him, and her childhood best friend. Felix and Chris had taken turns embarrassing their mutual friend and causing her to laugh uncontrollably for hours on end. Oh, how he wanted to stay and protect her and embarrass her with Chris but unfortunately he had to return to Volterra.

"Well cupcake," Felix said rubbing the back of his neck, "maybe I could kidnap you and bring you back to Volterra."

Aria laughed softly and tapped her finger against her chin as if she was in deep thought. "I wouldn't call it kidnappin' since I would come willingly."

Felix closed the trunk and pulled Aria into his side as one of her arms wrapped around his waist. The duo walked slowly back towards the house, a comfortable silence filling the space between them. Demetri sat on the stairs watching the pair before his eyes looked across the endless sea of green. After his small friend and her mortal companion fell asleep he took it upon himself to search through the woods looking for any tenors or scents that didn't belong to the Cullens or the wolves that resided in Forks. He just wanted to make sure that Aria was going to be safe before he left.

He looked down at his hands, a perfectly folded piece of pristine white paper was in his grasp. The tracker had taken the liberty to write down the phone number of the castle and his own personal cell for the petite human in case she needed him or needed someone to talk to. As she grew closer, Demetri watched her as she smiled up at his best friend talking about visiting them for Christmas break, if her uncle and aunt allowed her to go to Volterra. A smile found its way on his face as he saw her eyes light up as she saw him and her smile grew wider. She easily made any of them feel like they were one of the most important people in the world with just a simple look.

Aria ran to the stairs, her black rain boots being caked in mud from the previous nights thunderstorm. She stood at the bottom of the stairs looking up at the tracker she loved like an older brother. Demetri patted the spot next to him, a silent sign for her to join him. Quickly without her slipping she managed to ascend to where he sat and plopped down with about as much grace as a trotting hippo.

"Hey Demi," she greeted wrapping her arms around one of his and rested her head on his hard shoulder.

"Hello beautiful," he greeted back. She threw a playful glare up at her friend, she didn't like it when he would call her pet names that dealt with her looks.

With an unneeded sigh, Demetri presented her the paper, "Here sweetheart."

Aria unfolded it revealing Demetri's elegant handwriting. A string of numbers stood on the parchment that were labeled as Demetri's number and the secretaries desk phone.

A teasing smile made its way onto her angelic face. "Wow, it only took four months but I finally got the Casanova's number," she joked causing her friend to smile.

"If you wanted my number you simply could have asked."

Felix sat on the stair on the other side of Aria watching as her and the prized tracker joked amongst themselves. He noticed that his best friend seemed more relax than he had ever been like all the other times the pair hung out. It was seldom when the tracker wasn't the smooth talking, making women swoon vampire heartthrob around certain individuals. He normally only relaxed into his normal dorky self around only Jane, Alec, and Felix. Felix was pleased that Aria got to see the true Demetri Volturi.
