"rosie! come here, i'll introduce you to my friends." said jennie, grabbing onto the taller girl's wrist and taking her to her and jisoo's shared dorm.

"lisa, jisoo, this is rosie. straight from australia! it's her first night here." introduced jennie with a smile.

"oh, it's you." said lisa with a straight face.

"you know each other?" asked jennie.

"yup." answered rosie, remember their not-so-amazing encounter at the elevator earlier afternoon.

"rosie? do you have korean name?" asked jisoo in broken english. jennie smiled at that, she has been teaching jisoo english and that effort was enough to make her proud.

"yes! park chaeyoung."

"아! 채영씨, 한국어를 할 수 있나요? (trans: chaeyoung, do you know how to speak korean?)" asked jisoo.

"네. 제 한국어 안 조하는데... (trans: yes, but my korean is not good.) said rosie.

"괜차나요! (trans: that's okay!) said jisoo with a wide smile.

"what do you guys wanna do?" asked jennie, sitting down beside lisa.

lisa and jennie were sitting down on the sofa and jisoo was on the floor. jisoo patted the space next to her, signalling rosie to sit beside her.

"guitar girl, play us something." lisa requested, with a smug grin on her face.

"yeah!" jisoo agreed almost immediately.

rosie took off her guitar from her back and sat beside jisoo, "what do you guys wanna hear?"

"whatever you wanna sing." said jennie with a small smile.

"alright." rosie took her guitar out from the hard case and began strumming a set of familiar chords.

"seems like everybody's got a price, i wonder how they sleep at night..." rosie started the song, jennie sang with her almost immediately.

"when the sale comes first and the truth comes second, just stop for a minute and smile..." jisoo joined in.

"why is everybody so serious, acting so damn mysterious..." jennie looked over at lisa, giving her a look that signalled her to sing.

"got shades on your eyes and your heels so high that you can't even have a good time..." jennie leaned over lisa and poked her cheek.

lisa rolled her eyes, "everybody look to their left, everybody look to their right, can you feel that? yeah, we're paying with love tonight..."

the chorus of the song comes and all four girls as singing together, each of them exchanging glances from time to time (even lisa and rosie, who weren't really fond of each other.)

their voices joined together so well. it was a moment that rekindled their passion for music. with rosie on her guitar and leading the quartet, jennie's usual strong vocals carrying the song, and jisoo and lisa's different harmonizations, they all felt as if they belonged to be exactly right there.

the song comes to an end and all girls give each other soft and shy smiles.

"that was amazing." commented rosie.

"play us another one." lisa commanded, her hand finding jennie's shoulder and giving it a squeeze.

"what about our neighbors?"

"neighbors don't exist until they bang on the door, or the wall." said lisa.

with that said, rosie nodded and proceeded to play another song.

"...i wanna be a billionaire so fuckin' bad..." the thirty-fifth song of the night has finally ended and all girls ended up on the floor.

lisa was laying her head on top of jennie's lap, and jennie's back was against the bottom part of the sofa. jisoo was just beside her and rosie was sitting with her guitar in front of the three girls.

"what time is it?" asked jennie, followed by a yawn.

"it's ..." rosie checked her wristwatch, "5 in the morning."

"holy shit." said lisa.

"we should all get to bed." suggest jennie, tapping lisa's shoulder to signal her to get up.

"i'm sleeping here. i'm too lazy to walk back to my dorm." said lisa before jumping on jennie's bunk, her long body and limbs covering the entire bed.

"rosie, you should sleep here too. you can share the top bunk with jisoo." said jennie.

"yeah!" exclaimed jisoo.

"i-i snore." confessed rosie.

"i'm a heavy sleeper, don't worry." said jisoo with a comforting smile.

"she really is." said jennie. "she only wakes up if she wants to."

rosie laughed, "that makes no sense."

"you'll see." said jisoo with a small laugh.
